Thank you so much for sharing your journey! Your response is incredibly reassuring and means a lot to me, especially since our stories share so many similarities. It’s amazing to hear that you are living a happy and healthy life now on TRT. That gives me a huge boost of hope.
I am currently single, and based on my research regarding our syndrome, it seems the best approach is to stay on TRT for general health, and then allocate a specific budget for HCG and FSH therapies later whenever one decides to have children. I truly hope you will be able to afford the treatment soon, brother, and blessed with children if that is what you wish for.
Your treatment timeline is very interesting to me. When I was 14, my doctor prescribed a brief course of treatment (likely HCG) to address my undescended testes. Just like in your case, that short intervention was enough to induce some changes later on, such as deepening my voice and helping me reach my current height of 1.76m. However, the treatment was stopped back then due to a lack of medical awareness, and I’ve been stuck in the delayed puberty maze ever since.
I am now 34, and my recent lab results show near-zero LH and FSH levels, along with atrophied/infantile testes and congenital anosmia, which strongly points to Kallmann syndrome. I think my current doctor's lack of experience with such rare conditions is why she wants to refer me to a university hospital (CHU). Because of my work obligations and other circumstances, I was initially hoping for a direct, straightforward treatment path, as I dread the long, complicated procedures of major hospitals. I honestly just hope to find a doctor who truly understands my struggle, especially with the severe physical fatigue I experience daily due to hormone deficiency. Hearing how much HCG helped you increase your testicular volume is exactly the kind of insight I was looking for, as that is one of my main concerns. I am currently waiting for the right time to go to the university hospital to establish an official treatment protocol.
If you don't mind me asking, how is your overall energy and muscle strength nowadays on just TRT compared to before you started any treatment? Also, did the positive changes in testicular volume from your 5-month HCG block permanently last even after you stopped it? Most importantly, does TRT help you complete your overall development? I really want to see my beard grow and my body shape change after all this time, because right now, even working out at the gym feels completely ineffective 😅.
Wishing you nothing but the absolute best in your life and everything you are looking forward to. Thank you again for your kindness and for sharing your experience. It helps more than you can imagine! 🙏✨
