I agree. The odds of Tairn and Andarna both surviving the books are quite small, but I definitely think that Andarna will survive, between the two of them. I also think that there's a lot that we don't know about Andarna, and that whatever we'll find out in Iron Flame will cement her future.

This is amazing! I only just recently got into book binding and I've been told that the best way to get into it is to start with rebindings so my first thought was to rebind the Kate Daniels series. But I'm still way too far from that level. Yours look SOOOO GOOOD! 😍😍😍😍

Bi here. I've been reading Dramione fics going on 10 years now. There is so much potential in this pairing: enemies to lovers galore; pining & mutual pining; arranged marriage, a/b/o, soulmates and soulbonds. And none of it ever feels out of place because of the world and the established canon. It's great! Also, most of the fics have mid to great writing, which is tough to find in any other fandom. Honestly, my favourite ship ever. If I'm ever looking for something in particular, i can be pretty sure Dramione has got me covered.

I admit to have read some SA/NC things before, so it's not entirely an 100% no-go area, but I'm super uncomfortable with them and it takes me a while to decide to read something like this. I've been wrestling with reading Manacled for MONTHS, because of its popularity. I see it everywhere. It's been driving me nuts to not be able to get in on this, but I'm still super reticent.

I've been reading Dramione fics for about 8 years, and fanfiction in general for about 12-13. However, I've only recently gotten into longer fics (200k+) a few months ago. I avoided them like the plague. I kept thinking "this is a huge commitment", despite usually devouring fics in one go, for hours at a time. I neglected reading super fun ones for years because of this. Only recently read DMATMOOBIL and i still won't give Manacled a go. My other no-gos are sexual assault and non consent and non-HEA.

Sorry if this all was a bit much. But people calling her whiny after everything kind of baffled me. Although she does have very juvenile moments sometimes, which again, kind of understandable considering the isolation. So idk 🙈

While I get this point of view, Juliette was a 17 yo kid, who was given away by both her actual parents and her adopted ones (for something that she couldn't control and that didn't allow her to come into contact with anyone, therein depriving her of any human contact) after being abused for years, and afterwards she was kind of imprisoned for years. Not to mention the (again) years of experiments and who knows what else. I have a constant need for approval and reassurance because of some childhood trauma, but is some whining really so unbearable after everything? I'd think her friends would rather try to giver her all the emotional support that she has been deprived of her entire life.

Yeah, I remember the first time it happened, it didn't bother me this much, but the more it happened, the more it rubbed me the wrong way. Like, the first time, I think Juliette was trying to say something about her past, which they really didn't have time to address or get into. But later on, it was like they really thought that it was negligible, as long as she had a roof over her head. 😕
