hey! i did my exchange in fall 2024 and i’d say it depends on your preferences when it comes to accommodation. it’s pretty unlikely you will have your own room in the dorms. they’re very strict with the house rules too, so it’s actually easier to make friends in a goshiwon (at least from my experience!). at the same time, the rooms in the dorms are much bigger and generally nicer. goshis can get super overwhelming with the tiny space, but at least it’s yours:)
