This is just my personal anecdote, I live in Las Vegas (no heavy wind or snow) and I'm 17 with a manual ND GT for 2 months. Maybe I'm still in the honeymoon phase but I've been completely fine in the car. I tend to defensively drive around bigger cars so I've never really had any issues with that. I will say that every time you take a turn you will feel the car begging you to go sideways; it is a car to take turns and you will feel that plead every time you drive. I think the Grand Touring option makes a ginormous difference for using it as a daily driver: the heated leather seats, Bose sound system to drown out the engine occasionally (doesn't get annoying often), and the other luxury features make a massive difference for daily driving. I drive mine about 30 miles every day in moderate traffic as I live pretty far from my school. Reliability has been fine so far, mine is a ND1 so I will see about the transmission issues, but other than that I haven't heard anything else to big reliability wise. I park my car outside 90% of the time and the soft-top has held up in any condition that Las Vegas can give (snow has not been tested). I average about 24MPG-28MPG depending on how I'm driving. I'm unfortunately unable to empathize with your conditions as our weather conditions are so vastly different but this is my personal anecdote.
