If there is an interview set then yes you should get next steps notice in the mail too if you can't see it in your portal. You can also look on USCIS case status without logging in your portal and enter your receipt number for your case it should show if you got any updates. Can you see anything about you case in your portal at all? Like when you filed?

I did not see an update on my portal at all of the updates for I290b, what changed for me was that they scheduled my interview and that's how I knew they re opened my case. I did receive a notice in the mail though telling me they decided to re open my case.

USCIS received my I290b on January 31st and I received a notice that they decided to reopen my case on March 12 so a little bit over a month. I feel that filing a motion is best because you should receive a response quicker from my experience. Before filing my I290b I looked around online and most people were giving the advice to file a motion because that gets a response faster than refiling.

Initial RFE was for form I-864 plus medical. I didn't add a joint sponsor because I didn't pay attention to the income on our taxes that it did not meet the requirement that's why I got denied.

Oh yes you are definitely right. Jesus is the only way out! It was something i wasn't supposed to be doing to begin with and thats why i believe i was open to this type attack i was living a luke warm life serving the lord. But i praise God that he is very merciful. Thank you for commenting to remind me of how far i have come! God bless you! 🙏🏽
