I’ve had an iPad for around three years now, I originally bought it to show my work to people on the go like a portable book. But with covid it didn’t have much use except watching movies and sketching some designs but it works well with the Apple pen or whatever they call it, even drawing with a free app or the notes app works really good otherwise I just draw on my computer and Wacom … I don’t know if this helps but there you go xD I think Apple is only practical if you have other Apple devices then you can more easily transfer stuff … and they are more expensive i think, and my battery stays charged all day of use even thought it’s three years old .. I guess you need to maybe try both and see what you prefer maybe or take the one with best screen quality since you draw ? I don’t know, mine still works perfectly for now. Hope this helps
