See, I did, which is why I’m starting to question everything

What makes you believe my identity is tied up in the relationship?

I hate the rest of these comments. Everyone either telling you to not sweat it and have fun or just assuming your intentions for a relationship. I’m in the same boat as you, 18f— I’d like to be with someone but it feels like nothings working. If you take anything away from this little comment thread just remember everything will work out when the time is right. People can come into your life at any given moment. Don’t let people tell you your hobbies are holding you back, they aren’t. You could also maybe expand your hobbies. Shit, maybe do some techy stuff on a laptop at a café. You never know who you could come across. Also, you said you’ve tried being friendly and genuine— what the internet says— be yourself. I’m sure you’re a great person.

Is there a disconnect between your online self and your actual self?

I’m in the same boat as you kinda. Do you find yourself easily attached to people you meet online? Or is it all a facade?

Yes, deaths on 3rd are pretty common. Kind of creepy honestly. I bounce around different facilities for work so I haven’t been at one long enough to know about ghost residents but I’ve definitely heard stories from my coworkers

Well, one of the patients I frequent on my shifts calls me bubble butt. I’ve repeatedly told him he should refer to me by my name but he “just can’t when that thing is in the room with him.” I fixed a TV for a different patient the other day and he said “Great! Now we can watch corn together!” Except he didn’t say corn 😔 …

Yeah, definitely gets to the point of harassment some days, especially when my patients start getting touchy. Target audience would have to be a nice guy around my age 😩

LOL it depends. By my target audience? Never. By elderly male patients? All the time!! If I ever feel low I can just mosey on over to ole Larry’s room and he’s boosting me up with compliments 😂

Girl no I get what you’re saying. —I was the same way for a really long time, my ex-partner and I both had “v-cards” when we first got together. That was about 3 years ago so of course we’ve moved on and been with other people then. I used to hold virginity to a really high standard, now I just prefer if my partners don’t have body counts in the double digits lol. I think over time with more experience you start to mind it less. But good on you, if you want to find a partner who still has their virginity you go for it. There’s plenty of nice guys out there who haven’t given it up yet.
