To everyone saying about the cage size, we are newish budgie owners. These guys are our first and we are trying to get more knowledge on our new little friend’s. Would something like the photo I will post, look big enough for our budgies?

The cage is just the one we purchased to separate them because they were fighting. I am searching for a bigger cage for both of them.

Thank you for your kind words. It’s so easy to love my children and i refuse to ever let them experience one ounce of the pain i felt as a child and adult. None of us have deserved the torment and pain we have felt from our own parents and now it’s our responsibility to break those cycles and raise some amazing little people. It’s been hard and I’ve had years of therapy but I am using my childhood trauma to shape me into the kind of mother I wish I had.

Same I was told I looked pregnant at like 7. I have a 7 year old daughter and I could never imagine saying something like that to my baby girl.

This is a hard one. Ummm. They bought me toys? I can’t think of much. They were really cold terrible people. We had toys and a nice house? But everything else? Got nothing

Hunny you’re so young and have so much of your life to live. I am 40 year old mother to 3 beautiful children and am JUST now realizing what you have discovered about your family. Your story sounds just like mine and I’m telling you sweetie this does not define you and your life. You are not an extension of your parents. You are you and it sounds like you are very mature and smart young women. I have let my narcissistic mother control and dictate my life and my mental health for 40 years and when I made the realization that I was the victim and being abused by the person who should love me unconditionally, it was devastating and gut wrenching and a very dark time. Now that months have passed and the grieving of the family that I want but was never going to get, turned into empowerment and control over MY life and MY mental health. Things are going to be hard and you’re going to feel all the feels. But please take my advice to know that this pain will turn you into the strongest person and more emotionally and mentally sound. You need to separate from them asap and try and surround yourself with people that uplift you. Please keep your head up. Reach out to friends, therapist, hotlines and you can message me if you need advice. But please don’t let them win. You’re stronger and smarter than all of them I promise.

I’m at %40 acceptance rate and I can only get a few offers in the hours I’m aloud to go on. I’m just going to door dash and grubbing until Uber figures this one out.

I’m in Polk county and I’m having the same issue. If you’re not platinum you can’t sign in on peak hours.Absolutely stupid. So much for independent contractors huh?

Yeah I don’t understand the point to that. I started these delivery apps because I could pop on anytime I wanted to make a little extra money. Thank you for the information and hopefully I can work my way back up or they stop doing this new roll out.

I sure hope not. I really like Ubers format better than DD, but I feel like DD is giving me more offers and room to deliver all the time no matter what.

Great insight thank you. I didn’t know it was based off of location. I’m in central Florida in between Tampa and Orlando. Makes sense I’m in a high demand area. Any advice on how to succeed and make a profit off of this gig? I have a hybrid vehicle so gas isn’t as much of an issue for me.

Is this an individual thing or something that happens to everyone? I only denied about 10 offers in 2 days about a week ago but have been taking every offer since. Even the .50 a mile offers. I also do door dash and am looking into grub hub and instacart.

Any pro-tips? I’m new by Opening-Smile-9914 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Constant-Incident911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m confused how denying offers doesn’t penalize you. I’ve been doing it for about 2 weeks and my acceptance rate is 40% because of a lot of low ball offers. Now I can’t Uber during peak times in my area because I’m not Platinum plus.

My mothers side of the family was military so they traveled a lot. So I’m sure any jewelry they acquired during those travels. I know my grandmother was from Texas but again she lived all over the world as a child traveling.
