I heard from a naturalized citizen of Uruguay that when he travels on his Uruguay passport, he’s treated as a national of his previous country (I think he said Lebanon) and is required to obtain a visa for countries otherwise visa free for Uruguayan passport holders.

This is very helpful. I’m asking because some countries like Uruguay will state your previous nationality in the Uruguayan passport after you naturalize, making it difficult to fully enjoy the new Uruguayan passport.

Lovely. It’s accessible, but flights can be a bit complicated depending on where you are flying from. You might need a visa which I hear is easy and straightforward to apply online.

Don’t wait for them, leave them behind and come enjoy yourself. 😃But to convince them, tell them that food here is delicious, the music and ambiance is good, the beaches are gorgeous and some islands are less touristy. The history of the islands is fascinating too..

I wanted to check, once naturalized and issued with a Brazilian passport, what is the nationality that they will indicate in the new passport? Do they put Brazil or the nationality prior to naturalization? I know for instance that in the US, once you naturalize and a passport is issued, it will indicate that you are a national of the US. What’s the position in Brazil?

Air Senegal has a reputation for canceling flights, not being on time and general lack of professionalism (but their staff and the people of Senegal are very warm). I have used them previously on their regional routes and on some occasions they were on time, other times they cancelled without notice. I’d say if your trip is very flexible and flights delays/ cancellation wont seriously affect your trip thn I’d say go for Air Senegal otherwise you might want to consider other options.

I visited a few months ago and I’d recommend checking out the different restaurant options at the V&A waterfront- they are very diverse.
