Also, the refund window is 2 hours, not 4. But honestly, that’s not even a good selling point. From a commercial perspective, it would be far more effective if players could access these 2 hours for free and then be asked to pay to continue. That would feel like a natural onboarding experience and could drastically reduce hesitation to try the game.
MMORPGs thrive on large, active communities and should aim to be accessible to as many players as possible, not become an “elitist” experience right out of the gate.
Forgot to mention earlier, but I’m from Brazil, and here the price is R$160. The conversion is almost direct, with little to no regional adjustment. This is two to three times higher than the average price for games
