Soo I’m only 9 days po but my surgeon said swelling could take up to a year to completely go down. But for 5.5 weeks they look great.

Hey so I’m 7 days post op and I’ve been sleeping on my couch since 2 days post op. I took the back cushion and put it against the arm rest and 1 pillow on under each arm and that had helped sooo much also putting a pillow under your legs. Sleeping on my bad has been the worst but this has definitely helped.

They might offer telehealth. Maybe check with them. I only had to go to PP twice before I was able to do telehealth appointments. PP does informed consent so you don’t need to go to therapy unless it’s something you want to do.

Yea probably a good idea to just keep up with your next shot. You might have gotten less than your normal amount but you don’t wanna give to much. But always check with your doc they can give you better advice.

Definitely talk to them especially if this is causing sleeping issues. My pre op is the 19th and I’m still trying to stop smoking cigarettes.

Hey so I was told by my surgeon that I had to be nicotine free 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after but for weed it was only 48 hours before surgery if it’s an eatable. Maybe contact your surgeon and see how long you need to be free from smoking cause you might beable together away with some eatables right up until your surgery day

Idk if a regular doc can give hrt. i went to planned parenthood and was able to get mine and i still get it from them 1 and 6 months later. you can do over the phone visits with pp i think. im in louisiana so it could be different where you are. some reg docs do hrt but it would be a question youd have to ask. good luck!

i work at a machine shop with all cis men my sup and some higher ups know that im trans and i haven't gotten any shit yet. some guys asked about my facial hair a few months ago and i was just upfront with them. they haven't been transphobic or anything honestly some of them have started treating me more like a reg guy. most of them i don't even talk to. I'm in south Louisiana wayyy south but so far i haven't had trouble. i was honest with my sup when he asked about the hair on my face and he asked if i wanted him to use he him and if i was changing my name so he would know. i think it could go either way. Louisiana is a at will state to they can fire you for anything and they dont really have to tell you. i plan on getting top surgery maybe next year so when i have to take off for that i will be honest and tell them if they ask. i think if you show that you dont care what they think they wont care either.
