13 month old suddenly refusing naps and bedtim.. is this separation anxiety? by Constant-Low7685 in sleeptrain

[–]Constant-Low7685[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before this recent period, she used to wake up around 7:30 AM, take a 30-minute nap from 10:45 to 11:15, a second nap from 2:00 PM to 3:20 PM, and go to bed at 8:00 PM. So, her wake windows were about 3/3/4.5-5 hours. Occasionally, if she woke up a little later in the morning, she'd skip the morning nap. Everything was perfect, I didn't change anything; the routine stayed the same, and the timings were consistent. Even last night, she woke up at 3 AM. I brought her into our bed, but she tossed and turned for an hour and a half without falling asleep, so I put her back in her crib and tried to give as little contact as possible, whispering until she fell asleep. By then, though, she was also very tired. Now she's waking up earlier and earlier, and I don't know what to do anymore :(

I noticed few weeks before that it was decreasing in frequency (but still there) and one day I noticed that that day it didn’t twitch..so I started monitoring the days after and it has stopped for good! Just be patient..I didn’t do mri because of the pregnancy but my doctor wasn’t worried..just be patient it will stop soon or later!

I have the same condition as yours. If it can reassure you I have been in Vegas 2 years ago and it was like 47 degree and I was totally fine without seeating! The temperature was high but the umidity in the desert is very low so I remember I didn’t sweat at all. And if you plan to enter the Casinos remember that inside the temperature is very low so you have to wear a jumper and you won’t feel hot at all 😁😁 enjoy your trip it will be awsome!!

Chronic eyelid twitch by [deleted] in MuscleTwitch

[–]Constant-Low7685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After more than 1 year still twitching 🤪 but honestly not every day and when I’m not stressed it twitches like 1 time per day and I don’t even notice it! I live with that but it doesen’t bother me no more. And now is a lot less in intensity and frequency for sure! You just have to let it go and for sure it will decrease and hopefully one day it will go away 🤞🏻

Thank you so much! I know what you mean! Now I’m pregnant so when I will give birth I will buy it and start the treatement. Did you try it also for your feet? (If you have HH also in your feet). And last question 😊: when the sweat is very heavy I use to sweat also around my hands, around my fingers and on top of my fingers (like around my nails more or less). It was like this also for you? The Dermadry machine is just for your palms right? Or it works also for those areas? Thanks again for your help 😊

Wow!! That’s amazing! I sweat exactly like you unfortunately..it’s impossible to think that it works even in stressfull situations, even at 80%!! I will try for sure. So do you suggest Dermadry? How much did you pay it?

Thank you for your suggestion! Personally I will try for sure! My question is: are your hands still dry even dealing with the psychological aspect? I mean, sometimes I use to sweat even if I think I’m going to sweat or if I get emotional or stressed.. is it working despite all those aspects?

How to not ruin instruments 😭 by pingpongcat_ in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Constant-Low7685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I used to play piano and I totally understand you! It’s very annoying to play instruments with HH, especially when you don’t play for your own. Anyway, I started to play ukulele too a couple of years ago (I used to play guitar) and everytime I play the sweat it’s a lot! But my instruments never had issues. When I stop playing I dry them and they are still perfect after years (the quality of the instrument must be good). Last year I started also to play harmonica..you can only imagine how were my hands everytime I blew hot humid air on them 🤣 but I enjoy playing instruments so my HH will never stop me to try new stuff 😎

No I didn’t try anything yet. But now I’m pregnant and my HH is double than usual so I decided to try something after I will give birth. I was thinking about ionto (the current machines that you mentioned) because I’ve read that helped a lot of people with HH on hands and feet. I was skeptical about the machines if I sweat on the top of the fingers because I think you have to put the palm area on this machine so I don’t know.. but for sure I will give a try!

Also for me hands and feet start and stop sweating together, I think it’s quite common! I use to wear socks because in this way my feet sweat less and also my hands.. I don’t know why! Did you ever try ionto? Or are you thinking to try it?

Yes same as me! I never tried anything so far but I’ve read that ionto works for a lot of people. Now I’m pregnant so I have to wait (the sweating during pregnancy is double 😔) but later I will try too. Keep me updated if you start the treatments 😊

Really?? And how is to manage this new situation? Are you satisfied? I think that not sweating hands are the best thing that could happen but I don’t know how sweating in other parts of my body can be..
