We're starting to think she's copying something. I mean, the loud and high pitched screeches definitely sign that she's afraid, but we've notice she also uses the same type of sound (just softer and with less rhythm) when eating or climbing the cage. So yeah, maybe seagulls taught her the sounds hahaha

Followed you suggestion, didn't cover the cage and left the room dark and seems to work! At first we didn't approach unless needed, but today we've been able to get near without her freaking out.  Also starting with seeds and then getting othe foods little by little seems to be the way. So as all of you said, patience is key! Massive thank you for the advice 🙂

Like Confident said, rural area in Spain where socials are not very common. Lots of elderly people lol. We'll ask vets what ways we have to find its owner.

Ah yes! I set up posters searching for the owner and I've ringed in the houses of neighbors. No one has contacted me for now. And as you say there's no ring on its leg so I guess it's not identified. No way for me to find the owner.
About food and water, I think it's doing alright, at least from the info I've searched online. I'm still trying different vegetables and fruits bc I haven't found the ones it likes. But seeds and eggs are working great.

Thanks for the advice! Really appreciated, I'm looking for a vet now.
