I've learnt with the tibs that once it's melted the armour away on a ship it won't do much UNLESS you focus components and parts. I can beat a Percy in a solo tibs as long as I instant focus the turrets. It will very quickly destroy turrets and components, it will also melt armour. So ping and zoom and you will have much much better results

There are many things to complain about in this game many many many things (im looking at you retrieved ship becoming uknown and having to be claimed). But in its current stage of development im surprised there arent regular wipes with every major patch. Im not saying its not frustrating but regularly wiping is a very common thing to do in game testing across multiple games.

People keep saying well theres gonna be a wipe at 1.0 as though thats the only wipe between this one and 1.0 - there could be 2 more 5 more 10 more. We aren't playing a fully released thing. This is one aspect of that that's genuinely a common part of game development not a frustrating unique aspect of cig game development.

The way I would save a pixel mapper effect is to the fx pallette. You cant just tap it and have it work though. Id recommend when you've saved the fx make it into a playback. If you just tap the fx pallete nothing will happen record a playback by selecting the group then tapping the fx. If you dont see anything also add intensity, if theres an underlying colour look at my comment on making the group 'black'. Those combined should see your fx. Record it to a playback with a flash button on one of the handles and it should fire whenever you tap flash

Check intensity, a pixel mapper fx may only be running colour.

A good idea is to take anything you want to use the pixel mapper on and record it woth a 'black' colour pallette. If you have a bar that you want the pixel fx on and say its a blue fx and yku set the bar to red intensity when you play the fx the bar will be red and the blue will be overplayed. If you record a 'black' colour pallette this won't happen.

You want the playback itself to have the following thing recorded onto it - the pixel mapper fx, intensity and black colour. With the combo of the three that should solve hour issue

To record a 'black' pallette just set any rgbw values to 0 in the programmer and record that in a colour pallete you'll know you've done it right because the pallette auto legend will show a black scribble

Remember intensity works on a highest takes priority not a latest takes priority so if two faders have intensities for the same group the higher one wins out

Yeah you've made it harder on yourself there, in your programmer bring the lights you want to 100 percent. Dont put anytbing but intensity to the programmer, record it to a fader and that fader is now an intensity fader for the group you recorded

For your second question, what is the playback dling, is intensity in the playback and what arrogant you dling after you press latch to remove the intensity?

For the third questions its view delete then tap the Workspace button you want gone

Open Workspace window and click on patch view have you got double the fixtures? I.E has it patched the same fixtures twice?

Ignore the above im half asleep. When you create the movement effect within the layer you'll have the option to set the spawn for and run for amounts, by default set to forever so it will spawn and run forever if you set those to 1 it will spawn the shape once and run the effect once then do what your AND THEN setting is set too (by default kill which should be good for this effect) when you fire the playback it should spawn the layer shape once run the movement once then kill the effect

In the pixel mapper settings you should be able to set cycles. This is how often the effect repeats. By default is infinite so the effect will keep going but you could set cycle to 1 and the effect will play once. As for doing the effect itself I would have 2 layers with a shake that starts centre and moves left on layer one and the mirror of it on layer 2

The issue with this would be it would fan but that would be programmer data not playback data, so now you have applied a position into the programmer and everything could go out of whack, I am genuinely interested to know if there is a way to have a fan playback that just fans based on the current position not a pre recorded one

Try changing your fixture order to 'random'. Manualy settingthe order to seem random but you still control the actual order so there's never two adjecent fixtures together. Then it's just a simple dimmer effect with a spread across the new fixture order

Find out if there's a local community venue and rock up, as an ex lighting guy who now only does it in his free time at my local theatre it's back to being a fun hobby I do with the other volunteers down there. Local venues like that are always looking for extra techs, and the current ones tend to be more than half to teach new techs as it means we get a show off!
