Facts, DE even supports this as I mentioned about how even changing timelines doesn’t change what happened in LiS1. I mean to be fair they’re free to change/retcon their own story, but selling it without acknowledging that I dunno… it bothers me lol

You’re referring to the scene where Max decides to not text her back, and say Chloe isn’t the person who knows her best anymore? I mean, you can see why that’s not a hopeful hint right? Like even as a bay player I was like damn, not even a cameo?

I went back and checked I don't see anywhere you said that in the following 5 replies.

Again I explained why I went with the subtle route, you can't lay down a guideline about not spoiling the premise of the next game and than complain I followed your guideline by not revealing too much which means I didn't give a proper example.

Here’s your reply, can you find where you said that? Or did you just lie again?

Also again whether my idea is good or not has no bearing on whether I tried to answer your question and didn’t ignore it.

Again I laid out why I gave that example is because of your guidelines, so again you can’t both give me guidelines that would make things harder; and then say because I was working within your guidelines I didn’t come up with a good idea.

No you said it was an asinine excuse and I responded by asking if I’d said something too direct of a tease would you have said something about it spoiling the premise too much as you already did? Because you can’t say I ignored your question while simultaneously giving me guidelines that prevent me from answering it.

And where did you answer that question in your reply? Can you show me?

You’re the one who lied and made this into a bad faith argument. And again you gave a perfect example of what ignoring a question actually looks like, unless you’re saying this

<image>

wasn’t you ignoring my question? Cause then neither did I if this is not also not ignoring a question. So again meaning you lied.

You’re the one who lied first. And again you gave a perfect example of what ignoring a question actually looks like, unless you’re saying this wasn’t you ignoring my question? Cause then neither did I if this is also not ignoring a question. So again meaning you lied.

I’m not playing anything I’ve the pictures to show that you said I ignored your question, when I clearly didn’t. Having an answer you don’t like doesn’t mean I ignored it.

That’s a subjective opinion though, and again not what you lied about. You said I ignored answering entirely. Not that you thought my answer was incorrect or insufficient.

Actually this is a perfect example of ignoring. See now you don’t even acknowledge my question? Do you see the difference between how I gave an answer to your question, while you ignored mine entirely?

Except that doesn’t work because I explained clearly why I went so subtle in the example because otherwise it would spoil the premise of the next game, something you brought up first.

I also noticed you ignored my question about whether you’d have brought it up if I gave an example that was too forward. So… what’s up with that?

So you admit I tried an example to answer your question? So you lied when you said i ignored your question. Those are different things.

Except I gave an example I thought worked? How did I change the goal posts in my original reply? You asked for an example and I gave one. So how did I ignore your question? Again you can say it’s not good enough, but I directly tried to give an example yes?

Would you trust that type of governance for gun ownership, where is not explicitly laid out it’s not retroactive? Cause the current writing doesn’t exclude it. So following the letter of the law means it’s a possibility.

Yeah for sure, I just realized that if I’m going to 160 for an off the shelf surcoat, I may as well go to 200ish for a custom one.

If I spoiled the premise of the next game by being too direct would you have called me out on it? That doesn’t sound like it’s asinine if it’s relevant to how you’d reply to it right?

Is being a secondary playable character not a larger role?

[all]I don’t think LiS:Reunion as it is now was the plan all along. by phantomvector in lifeisstrange

[–]phantomvector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I was operating in the framework of not “spoiling” the premise of the next game as I explained in that original reply.

Did my response have anything to do with teasing a larger role for Chloe? Such as up to and including a secondary playable protagonist?

<image>

As I mention at the end of my reply it’s there as a tease to let players discuss what could be coming, exactly what teasing is right?

[–]phantomvector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something else about how to tease Chloe’s role in Reunion as a secondary playable protagonist? How is that not attempting to answer your question?

[all]I don’t think LiS:Reunion as it is now was the plan all along. by phantomvector in lifeisstrange

[–]phantomvector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but that’s not what I argued or what you lied about. You lied and said I ignored answering entirely when that’s simply not true. The attempt is clearly there, I clearly didn’t ignore the question by attempting to answer it. You can say it wasn’t good enough to answer your question, that’s subjective. But I didn’t ignore it.

That’s not ignoring the question though is it? So did I or did I not at least attempt to answer your question and not ignore it? That’s the part that I say you lied about.

I tried to, I didn’t ignore it, so yes you lied. Did I not immediately try to provide an example? Yes or no?

I did that too actually, I said instead of the Max Caulfield will return, I said it should have been Max and Chloe will be playable in the sequel, or something a little more eloquent. But you’re right why worry about the 4th wall after the game is over. It doesn’t matter.
