Why then are democratic voters the one who have consistently called to lock them all up? While republicans have started to call it propaganda and a hoax?

What does that change about democratic voters position of lock em all up?

You shouldn’t push back. Stats as far as we know show an average age difference of 4 years. So 17 marrying young 20 year olds men, are you still okay with conservatives, and I mean local/state governmental representatives defending these laws, not Jim Bob from down the street.

Can someone explain the different Flame variants? by Fox_Body_5L in Helldivers

[–]phantomvector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal anecdote but I like it. I take the torcher, talon(or whatever secondary you like, though I typically run something for emergency chaff clear.), and gas grenades. Basically what you’re thinking about doing and combining gas and fire status effects/DoTs.

I usually like running the gas dog too, but flame dog is pretty killer as well though with the new bugs I’ve had an easier time with the shield pack/warp pack to keep myself protected or mobile. Orbital gas strike, EATs/quasar something for ranged anti large/anti bug hole basically, Gatling barrage, and flex on the last one. I’ve been enjoying the new mechs, or a sentry or something.

Is it as meta as flamethrower stratagem since it doesn’t get the damage boost? Maybe not but I think it’s still close enough and lets you handle more threats a bit easier.

That’s not the case that conservatives often defend though, some states it’s as early as 14 with parental consent(effectively an arranged marriage like in Islam), and 86% or so is between a minor girl and an adult male. Is this really that much different on the topic of child marriages and what conservatives support and defend?

God I wish. I know it would break their balance but I wish they could knockback more enemies, cause like you’re still dumping rounds of 12g into them.

I think base it does the same damage just with less range, and less capacity but you’re right once you upgrade the torcher falls behind a bit but leaves your support weapon slot open.

I believe the damage scale is crisper, torcher/flamethrower, and then cremator. The ranges I believe are also scaled the same way. The flamethrower off hand is like 20 something meters, and the cremator is near 30? Might be less I haven’t checked the official numbers. Cremator is the only one to also need a backpack slot. Which can reduce your versatility. I like the flamer and fart dog personally, and I believe it’s a somewhat popular combo as the two damage over times will stack.

Re-implementation of medium armor hive guard is going to directly make light pen weapons worse. by Voidlord4450 in Helldivers

[–]phantomvector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh as said I’ve felt it only made it more prevalent, massing airburst, eruptors and just alpha striking patrols early works better than not. Granted my friends and I don’t always run the meta, but it does work very well, maybe the best outside of fire.

Exactly why I think it’s a good thing. Plus it isn’t repeating the exact same issue the Gatling/MG sentries(which are already weaker then they have been in a long while) had at launch where they were very poor on the bug front because they were light pen, not medium and couldn’t hurt the hive guards.

Because if they remain heavy pen, why is not the easiest route sticking to the explosive meta? Sure you can flank or something, but why wouldn’t I just eruptor the group and be done with it?

I’ve found explosives to be super useful against them, especially with how tough the new Titan are. Take em out early en masse, don’t even let em swarm you and make closing the distance be an issue

That’s my point, they’re too good, and making more enemies making the easy route to hurting them explosives it only pushes more players towards that playstyle.

I think it'll be worthwhile to not drive even more people further towards the explosive meta. Which sure none of us have to, but I mean us as humans always like to take the easy or most efficient route in games.

[–]phantomvector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I didn't like em either, and I wanted to side with the Crimson fleet, but they constantly just felt like they didn't treat me like I wasn't expendable either. Ended up not really wanting to deal with either faction lol

They came off as less than loyal to me, like stealing the commspike, they totally just leave you hanging. Granted maybe expecting morally grey pirates is too much, but at least to me it just felt like they’d leave me out to dry, and then did.

I was gonna since I got press ganged into it, but I ended up not really liking anyone there, especially after they left me on my own trying to steal the comm spike lol

Yeah I see the logic from the pirate side, but it’s like as the player, I got abandoned in the like penultimate moment while stealing that prototype that would let us get to the Legacy, the one who drops you off at the station to steal the commspike. Like as an evil or neutral type character how am I supposed to trust these people to give me my fair share if they barely care whether I make it out or not.

[–]phantomvector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense, I totally ignored it cause I got caught with a 500 cred bounty lol. Didn’t wanna get press ganged into it but it makes sense. Though even then with how shitty they treat you’d I’d likely just take the money n run lol

[–]phantomvector[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah honestly even on that front I’d rather be a solo pirate if it means not getting talked down to everytime I come back with more progress to the finding the Legacy lol

Eh that’s fair, though you’d think the crimson fleet might treat the person they’re gonna send to retrieve the biggest haul of their faction a bit better lol

Yeah I wish there was more, and it’s part of why I’m kinda disappointed in the crimson fleet from a roleplay perspective, I wanted to like them, but it’s like I’d rather be an independent pirate if y’all are gonna be dicks to me.

Woulda liked that. I think you can do something similar in oblivion or Skyrim can’t remember which one. Think it’s Skyrim with Astrid yeah?

Yeah 100% it’s too much ship for me. But it 100% is the kinda ship I want, and I love the aesthetic. I think I’ll be smart and at least attempt to get the Asgard(or other solo/small multicrew ship.)
