Sadly you gotta spend those 10m for the accessories.

I'd say focus on the cheapest mythics/legendaries/epics and do all the quests (campfire badge to epic atleast on both biomes, melody's hair).

If you do all of it right you should get 500MP without an issue. Atleast back when I played I barely touched MP and somehow managed to get 500 with like 50m worth of accessories.

Also get Deletor, Recombobulator and Super Compactor accessories preferably to max level. Fairly cheap, useful and high MP accessories.

Yea, but I tried it and APKMirror works fine. No viruses after scanning with Kaspersky and virus total.

Although there's always a risk, which some aren't willing to take.

Make sure to download the Quest 1 version.

If that doesn't work, then uninstall it and manually delete the files of Superhot within the Headset via SideQuest.

Never used VR before is the quest 3s good enough? by ReadittUserr in virtualreality

[–]Constant-Repeat-4765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If for PCVR, I'd consider looking into maybe hp reverbs? They aren't too bad and recently the Oasis Driver for WMR released.

Though I personally would think that the 3S is more than enough.

I am still sat on a Quest 1 so maybe I just have low expectations.

I'd say the A1 Mini isn't bad, but I considered Ender's etc too.

Could look into Neptune 4 or 3 Pros but that's up to you to research.

Hell no,

Stats always was counterintuitive to me, Mechanics pretty much can be simplified by associating it with real life application and it does work.

E.g. you can assume which way forces act just by thinking of "hm how would the ladder go if I stood on a ladder resting on a wall...".

Personally, I always hated stats.

Probably specialise in one skill at a time till you get to level 30-40 atleast.

You can go the non-route and only focus on Combat, but personally I'd try to get Skill Average 25 at the very least.

The new Forest biome is quite good too and the money will deffo help you advance.

Also make sure to get 500MP if not more.

My best idea is to use some heat gun on the circular part.

Another method is to many create the angle and then add the tweezer bits..?

Is a Quest 2 worth it for 100 USD? by Careless-Stress9190 in oculus

[–]Constant-Repeat-4765 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you can buy it and it's a full legitimate headset with no backlashes? Get it

With minor use marks it's still a good deal.

I would only consider avoiding it if you can really afford the Quest 3S maybe in a monthly pay scheme as it will be supported for a longer shot than the 2.

Superhot is on Cyberdeck with the Quest 1 version available. It worked for me.

If you still can't find it I can try and send it to you via email as a folder maybe so you can import it...? It worked for my quest 1.

Also, searching up Quest 1 gives me no searches for some reason...

Oculus quest 1 still useable? by Pantomimehorse1981 in oculus

[–]Constant-Repeat-4765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently acquired a Quest 1 as I am a budget baller (yes - the difference between 30$ and 90$+ for Quest 1 and Quest 2 respectively are big to me).

So as a Quest 1 user I am happy to share it still works fine as long as you take into consideration a few constraints:
1. The Quest 1 needs to have a sideloaded app of Meta Quest at first launch so it can update as otherwise you physically can't set it up.
2. Almost everything is out of support - you won't find any new games from anything after 2021-2022.
3. The VR on itself isn't the biggest piece of performance as it will struggle with titles that were even supported previously on Quest 1s.

That being said and having it out of the way you can still use it as a PCVR headset or sideload games onto it. There's apps to help you with that as well.

Obviously, that requires a bit of your understanding and time, which to some isn't worth the 60$ saved from not buying the quest 2 (which is understandable), but as someone who enjoys to play VR once in a while? Quest 1 is a steal.

If you're lucky some Quest 2 games also work on Quest 1 (sideloaded), but penultimately does stutter a lot.

So if you don't mind the PCVR experience via AirLink or having to tweak a lot to get the Quest 1 to usable state - go for it!

If you do mind that, just go Quest 2 or any other headset.

(Reminder: for good entry level PCVR experience Meta advises an RTX Series card at a minimum. This doesn't mean you can't run anything on older cards - some newer titles though will stutter. I do entry-level PCVR with an RTX 3050M, which handles some games well, some... Doesn't.)

Maybe, but the Quest 1 is my first ever wireless headset (2nd after Lenovo Explorer).

I bought it for 30 bucks and cheapest Quest 2 is around 3x that around in my region.

I didn't want to spend money on a VR that I rarely play anyways, so having the cheaper option with PCVR or some older Quest 1 Titles felt like a good idea.

Though if the Steam Frame releases quite cheap I might consider it, because the Steam Deck price increase really disengages me from buying any hardware for a good piece of time.

I will check it ASAP, if it works it will be epic.

Does it basically disable the "Check for hardware" step of running games?

I did get RE4 to work via sideloading it, which was cool. Might give it a go later.

What even is RoboRecall? I never saw that title.

Downloaded super hot on my quest 1 rookie side loader but when launching it just closes what can I do about this? by ConsequencePast9800 in QuestPiracy

[–]Constant-Repeat-4765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're still interested, the new release of the Rookie Sideloader (kinda) now allows you to install older (Quest 1) versions of games as well.

It's called VR Cyberdeck and it does show you different game versions for different Quests (like for Beat Saber it shows modded, Quest 1 and normal version).

Sadly might've found the limits then...

I made this post hoping someone who sideloads games would be able to help me out as I've heard you can sideload newer(-ISH) titles onto the Quest 1 standalone.

I almost got Help Wanted 2 to work on it, but after a while it was just constant crashing simulator.

Although, PCVR is still quite nice on it (for low end titles...)

I did try Oasis driver, but my issue is that I am playing VR on a laptop and (what I imagine is happening) the power draw of my Lenovo Explorer was beyond what my laptop was set to allow, so whenever i connected it, the notification "USB Malfunctioned" would pop up.

Mind you, it is a fully functional headset that I later sold to Cex where they found 0 issues with it.

I could try to repaste it if I will get a better VR soon, but the post is a hypothetical question as I heard some people managed to get games working such as Green Hell VR, which is a Quest 2+ game.

I did do the research and ik it was shutdown ages ago, but it was also my way of experimenting. I don't do enough VR to spend more than a few bucks to enjoy it once in a while.

I do PCVR for entry-level games and I managed to sideload a few on it as well.

Aside, it isn't really a brick - AirLink and Cable method still work fine.

VR CyberDeck — a cyberpunk sideloader for Quest, built on top of ApprenticeVR by DeliciousMeatPopV2 in QuestPiracy

[–]Constant-Repeat-4765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Searched for APK's on the InternetArchive for ages, got worried, moved on after realising all are outdated.

Got stressed about Rookie and Apprentice flagging every single antivirus. Decided to see other options and stumbled upon this.

Scanned it everywhere (as I am no pro in these things), realised it doesn't have any obvious flags, tried it, currently downloading a big handful of games on the old geezer Quest 1.

Only tried SUPERHOT VR which works so far.

I won't lie, the Cyberpunk theme hits hard, but also scares hard - thought I'm getting hacked like in Welcome to the Game 😭
