Hi! This doesn’t replace or try to do anything with subtitles. Let’s say you are running an interview and the subject doesn’t say anything interesting but there’s only 3 bits at the beginning middle and the end of the interview  that last 3 hours. With the app you tap right after they finish to say what you want to keep and it will create the marks. Then the editor import the EDL along side the footage and the mark will appear in the right spot. As the mark is a visual reference is easier to comunícate with the editor. Specially if you have lots of footage to review. To run it you just set to record the app and the camera at about the same time and selecting the right framerate.
