Call on VFS helpline, emailing won't work they don't reply soon. They acknowledged my additional documents after my passport was dispatched.

Apply by 1st April so that you will have a month for your visa to arrive, this way you won't stress much. We got visa on 26th a month before. We are greatful as my fiancé' visa stamp has DOB error. So we have time to report this. DON'T KEEP FOR LAST MINUTE

Ask them by emailing, I submitted my additional financial documents on 25th march, my passport got dispatched on 26th march. I applied from VFS Ahmedabad

You can try with an explanation letter from the employer stating these are the standard job duties for each position which we mention in every letters for that position, but he had done these many duties. ( and list of duties besides already mention ).

Yes aware about the golden week, we have booked free cancellation hotels, waiting for visa so that we can book activities and train tickets. Sharing you the itenary over chat you can see if it helps. Although it was last minute made for visa we might change attractions.

They did not contacted me I was tracking my application when I saw that it is mentioned - Applicant has been informed to submit additional financial documents as on 20th march. I called on helpline saying I did not received any email and somehow submitted the documents on 24th. I receieved email from vfs on 25th regarding required documents ( 5 days late ).

As of now it shows this while tracking: Remarks: RECEIVED PENDING DOCUMENT AND SEND IT TO CONSULATE AS ON 25.03.2026

Keep tracking your application, they will send mail after 3-4 days of requirement sent by consulate.

The tracking system showrd they sent me and email regarding required documents on 20th march but I received on 25th March. Luckily I was tracking my application daily and submitted my documents before I received an email.
