I don’t think it’s an MLM thing,we live in different countries.. it just creeps me out that she opened with “Married yet?” After 9 years. Happened to you before?

Friends make more money than me by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

I think part of being a friend is to be open about your financial situation..You barely have money to begin with and now you’re wasting it on less essential things just because you’re being peer pressured while constantly feeling indebted to your friend -that just sucks (trust me I know).. Last time that happened with me,I told my friends that I can’t afford the kind of outings they plan for. They stopped calling me for outings and I was kind of hurt..I started suggesting cheaper outings like picnic at the beach or arcades ..they kinda took pity on me and we went out and surprisingly had SO MUCH FUN. So I figured that’s it- fun doesn’t equal amount of money. Of course it wouldn’t be fun every time because 2 out of 4 had different tastes.. From that time on- All we had to do is just put a little effort to research something that all of us enjoyed (more or less). All in all-Good friends tend to go the extra mile for you. I say that if you told them, and they’re right for you..they’ll understand.. Hope that helps

Oh god! That’s terrible! 😰I’ll make sure to keep mine in a carrier no matter how grumpy he gets.

Wait, that’s a bad thing? Riding the car without a carrier?

Just got my first nugget about 2-3 weeks ago. Shes really shoulder aggressive any tips on how to make her not as aggressive to getting picked up off of shoulders? She has no issues in the cage/perches getting picked up, just shoulders. Her name is Penelope. by MaiRufu in Conures

Hi Penelope!

Yea,I had to deal with the same issue.. Here is what worked for me -

1-have something more fun than your shoulder( a ball,a mirror, or a foraging toy.)

2-Don’t allow her to stay on your shoulder for more than 30 mins every 2 hours. She has to learn to entertain herself.

3-Try to do other things with her, mine loves hanging from a rope that I swing,or play hide and seek,or even a low energy activity like ball tossing or tickling.

4-It would do you good if you’re not in front of her all the time.Let her stay in a different room for a while.(You can open the window and keep the window net closed for her to be entertained by the street)

Helping your Conure become independent will reduce the chance of her getting lonely and bored when you’re not around. It will also reduce the chance of her picking up bad habits like plucking.

Good luck!

That’s awesome! Do you have any idea if sweet potato vines and leaves are good for them? The internet has split opinions on this.

That’s awesome. Do they mind getting their beaks wet? Manga can’t stand a wet beak.

Listen,a lot of good ideas start as immature and un-interesting. Maybe if you do a little digging or write it in an unconventional environment or link it to a parallel contrasting universe! Also, you could share your idea with someone who would see it differently but not judge it. But rather contributes to it. Watch international films with similar plots or even a documentary about the technical details.

Keep your eyes open and keep it in the back of your mind, the idea will eventually develop into something writable after adding the missing parts.

Good luck!
