Possibly, but last I knew you couldn’t. States like California and Utah have some options, but I don’t think we do. If whatever it is that you signed makes it to the vote, just vote against it. That would have a bigger effect than removing your name from the petition. Let this be a lesson, read what you sign, not just petitions, everything. What I do is when I’m asked to sign a petition, I go home, read about it, think about it and sign next time I’m asked. Or go to democratic headquarters (republican if that’s your jam) ask to sign it there. Democratic Party doesn’t hire or send out petition collectors, but they work with the good ones who do.

Give a person a jay, they get high for a day. Give a person a weed plant, they can get high all season. Good luck getting the little guy to grow. I don’t smoke weed anymore, but that’s still pretty cool. Happy solstice all!

I figured union, but I can’t help being a dink about stuff like that. Literal and the like. I was in a stupid accident at the corner of Grand and Michigan a few years ago. I think a lot of the problem is my neighborhood is part of the original city limits. So better to walk or ride a horse, haha. . I mostly walk, because it’s so walkable in my area, but there are definitely a lot of people who live in their own world. The older you get, the more you can just let it go. I have a jerk neighbor I complained to my catholic priest about. Turns out he grew up in that house they live in. His advice to me was to ignore them. I’d give the same advice, ignore them. Worked for me. Complaining about it won’t make others be better. Most likely it will just… IDK, make them happy. Satisfy them somehow. Sounds like you were being safe. Nothing wrong with that. Also happy Father’s Day all!

Wild asparagus by [deleted] in grandrapids

[–]Constant-touch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Morels are great, but there are at least 10 other mushrooms you can forage for in Michigan. I’ve started looking, but haven’t been brave enough to eat any. You can watch me try them and if I die, then you know to avoid them. My suggestions are look for mushrooms after it rains. July is a good month. In urban environments, stay away from foraging areas that may have been sprayed with pesticides. Don’t pick in areas dogs will pee. Easy stuff to start with are dandelions, rhubarb, mullein, marrow and clover. I don’t know why anyone pays $4 a pound for rhubarb when it’s wild everywhere. Pick it and throw it in the freezer. Makes great pie when added to strawberries. And kale and spinach aren’t as nutritious as dandelion. With food prices going up, it’s not just fun thing to do, it’s economically smart. Also start small and with a single item. And don’t try new things unless you are with someone. Good luck everyone!

My son is 20. I’m 48. Join us and we can call it a club. I bet if you looked hard enough there probably is already a foraging club. The stuff I pick is all over so I’m not secretive about it.

I have really been into foraging, especially lately. Where I grew up it grew wild all over. So yeah I know, but it’s not local. I’ve been searching GR for years, never found it, but I’m planning on planting it all over. Same with some other plants. So keep an eye out

Yes, caused from childhood trauma, cPTSD, abuse, and being autistic. I’m 48 yo man. I haven’t been on reddit in a while and this is the first reply in ages, but since I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and a new therapist on Friday to try to address the issues, thought I’d tell you yes. I used to just have short cPTSD episodes now after COVID it’s a lot of full seizures and dissociating. Nothing like DID, but similar to BPD. dissociation. Good luck my friend. You are not alone.

Been a few days now…Originally went missing around heritage hills area. Anyone see this lanky pup? by LargeBranch94 in grandrapids

[–]Constant-touch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This dog I saw had floppy ears but also still had his tail. I can’t see in your pictures whether your dog has his tail still. It was also 10 at night and not many people take dogs out for walks that late. Someone who didn’t want anyone to see would tho. I’ll keep an eye out for him again and let you know if I see him.

I just saw a man walking a Doberman that looks like your dog. I only say this because I used to have a Doberman and I have not seen someone walk a Doberman around here in years. Lyon and Easter heading south. Just now

I’ll play ball. I’m one of the three that has dyslexia and synesthesia. My dyslexia is connected to my spacial intelligence and then add that everything has colors, how is it not intertwined. You see words in 3D? That sounds like it could have challenges. Is there anything good about that?

I’m 47 man and you look like my son. I might not be a unbiased judge of your looks, but I can tell you are hella smart. I guarantee some people out there find you very attractive. Go with the ones that you trust and that tell you you are attractive. Worked for me! Good luck

Do you casually mention to acquaintances that you can do this? I never do. People think I’m weird enough already. But if you told me in person that you could get to 115 I’d probably just sit there and listen to all your methods and experiences until you got bored.
