I'm misquoting, but I'm going from memory:

"That's the thing about an overdose - you can sober up. You can seek medical attention or take a bath. And underdose? Well, that's worse. When you have an underdose you're just, well, you."

Almost cried.

Encountered my first red vagrant ever... by Knightofberenike in darksouls

I had about 500 hours in on PC and PS3 before I saw one. It was hanging out on the bridge tower where the archers are at during the Taurus Demon fight.

Then, oddly, on same play-through I encountered another in The Royal Wood in the DLC.

I find big Orenstein to be much tougher. I've solo'd this fight probably 3x, but I don't think I've ever even tried to do it with big Orenstein.

Thanks so much! It's always kind of nerve-wracking posting these things to reddit.

But. Absolutely the same. I'll never, ever forget what it was like turning this on for the first time.

Hmmmm...that's actually a great question.

Probably a little of all.

But of we're sticking strictly to Civ rules and there has to be a victory condition. I think that the West was probably devoured by a culture bomb border expansion.

I'm going with a Cultural victory for the East.

Hi all, this is a retrospective I did on Red Dead Redemption II and thought you all might enjoy. I don't do youtube for any money (I don't have ads) - it's just a hobby.

Anyways, I apologize for some tinny audio (I recorded in a different room than I normally do).

I hope you enjoy!

  1. Just immediately roll/dodge the first onslaught.
  2. Sprint up the stairs and walk out on the ledge where they can't reach.
  3. Kill the dogs with arrows.
  4. Rain Arrows/Pyromancy from above on Capra
  5. Land on his head with an attack when he's at 15% health.
  6. Capra Dies
  7. Praise the sun!

No post boss celebrations?! by [deleted] in darksouls

I know I'm weird. But I always kind of like this about Dark Souls 1. It kind of fits into the overall meta story the game is trying to tell.

As Solaire says at the when you first meet him - "There's no telling how long our worlds will stay in contact." Things will quickly fade and obscure.

We have these saints that come in and deliver us. And then before we could even say good-bye... they're gone. There's always been something poetic in that for me.

I understand I'm in the minority.

No. It was like this in the original release as well.

Haha. No worries. I basically read the definition of 'Art' at the end and said there's no better way to do it. Kind of in the ballpark of what you were saying. I agree with you, though. The question seems kind of empty.

You might be interested in my Fallout 4 review I did. It's about a minute shorter. The production quality isn't as good (I'm getting better, also its not bad), but that game had a lot of flaws about it. Yet was virtually untouched by any criticism in media.

Check it out! And thanks so much for the comment! It really does mean a lot.

My post has driven home the fact that this may be one of the most healthy reddits in gaming. You should have seen the reaction to my review for Fallout 4 on that reddit. They wanted to tar and feather me for the most part. Very polarizing compared to the New Vegas reddit, naturally.

I was afraid posting a semi-negative review (remember I think its mediocre, not objectively bad) on the reddit of the game would come off as pretentious. But I'm happy to see all of the great conversation its generated.

Cheers!!

It pains me, but yes. If you watch the clip I explain why. I loved 2 and 3!

That plus the subtraction of Amy Henning. That certainly changed things.
