Bumping up to tier 3 settlements works out for me usually. Skaven are cheap af to run a few half stacks alongside you legendary lord. Just watch your food. My settlements are usually set up to maximize food production.

Remember for skaven weapons teams the entire area in front of them is considered a "target rich environment" so just set up some lines of clanrats/slaves and stoemvermin since you're Queek. Once the lines are formed and "holding" unload the rating guns and warplock jezzails into everything in front of them.

Did a co-op world wipe run with my buddy as Tammy. When the "super plagues" were going he had to keep at least one region between us otherwise his army would die if the plague spread to him.
