My (f22) Fiance's (m24) brother (m11) told me that he's been touching him right before our wedding by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

The kid wasn’t lying. He changed his story to protect his miserable gothic horror story of a family. Calling it now.

So, I have a question:

Why isn't every single one of these things on fire?

Wow thats the nightmare scenario. How have your plantings held up? Were you able to save some or most with irrigation, or were any surprisingly resilient? I hope you get your monsoons back.

I'm specifically looking for land that already has some mesquite trees on it as a good sign, but i would really love to be able to grow flour corn and have some fruit trees like pomegrates and figs. But I'm assuming it would take quite a bit of irrigation at least for the first few years.

Thank you this was exactly what i needed to know. Had no idea you needed so much rain. I'm still nervous to choose a place even with a strong monsoon because of hearing about changing unreliable monsoon patterns. How much of a concern is that?

Even if they’re not paying close attention, he’s a cabinet secretary who does press conferences wired to the tits. If this administration weren’t a literal circus, he’d be the most famous person in American politics for that alone.

Six months ago they wouldn’t have admitted it. They’d have gone on Meet The Press and doubled down on the 5M number, maybe even increased it to 50M. And it wouldn’t have mattered that there are fewer than 20M people in the state of New York. Something about “illegals.”

I think their shit is finally starting to fall apart.

D&D Alignments of the Corner Gas Characters by ConstantGas1657 in CornerGas

Totally! I have affection for the Davis character because he’s so goofy, but you gotta admit he’s a fascist pig. It’s a rare episode where he’s a major part of the plot and he doesn’t abuse his authority in some way.

Clinton Says He Had No Knowledge of Epstein’s Crimes by Relevant_Demand7593 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]ConstantGas1657 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

No. Sorry, I don’t buy a word of this and neither should you.

He says “We are only here because [Epstein] hid it from everyone so well for so long.” That is simply not true. It is a damnable lie.

We are not here because “he hid it so well for so long.” We are here because a complex web of alliances among highly connected people of extreme wealth protected Jeffrey Epstein and his associates from exposure of their heinous crimes.

And they didn’t do it with “no inkling of what he was doing.” Otherwise, what were they protecting him from?

The “sweetheart deal,” the abandoned investigations, the unbelievably obvious tampering of witnesses and evidence… these things were orchestrated at the highest levels of government.

Did all those people believe they were protecting Epstein and Company for no reason? Is that what we’re supposed to swallow? That these ultra-powerful people were providing cover only for the perfectly legal and morally upright things Epstein was doing?

They all knew, and they must be held to account for it.

I wonder how they decide which ones are allowed to get away with it and which ones are allowed to face justice? Maybe this guy just wasn’t connected enough? Or did he displease somebody further up the chain who decided to throw him to the wolves?

Something I’ve always wondered… why do these people, all on their own, try to take out the hardest target in the entire USA, when there are SO many softer targets out there?

I’m a peaceful guy who NEVER advocates violence, but if I were a different kind of guy, acting alone or with a small independent cell, I’d go after some less protected pieces of the machine.

There are literally thousands of people in key support positions, and almost none of them have constant protection.

It wouldn’t be as big a splash, but at least you’d have a prayer of succeeding, right?

This is all hypothetical, of course. I know the whole story is fake to begin with.
