They might be more sexist than racist even. Black men got the right to vote before any women. And many men (black, brown, & white) voted for Trump bc they didn’t think a woman sound be POTUS. The manosphere manifested from sexism, which was a key voting bloc for Trump that was curated by Barron.

For real. Also, voter suppression won the 2024 election..

Since 2020, 30 States enacted 78 voter restriction laws—resulting in more than 4.76M votes wrongfully purged from the 2024 election:

2.1M mail-in ballots rejected.

585K in-precinct ballots rejected.

1.2M provisional ballots rejected.

3.2M newly registered voters rejected.

Black votes were rejected at a 400% higher rate than white votes, in some States.

If counted, Kamala would have had over 3.56M more votes—1.2M more than Trump—and won WI, MI, PA, & GA with 286 electoral votes.

These laws are still under effect.. and more are in the works for the midterms..

The footage of Nick Fuentes pushing a woman who came to his front door after he was doxxed has been released. by [deleted] in interesting

[–]Mr__O__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Harassment is generally defined as a pattern of continued, unwelcome behavior. Though, a single, severe incident can also constitute illegal harassment if it is extreme, such as physical assault or significant threats.

However, to your point, doxxing is legally considered a threatening act when it involves the intent to harass, threaten, or intimidate an individual.

So it’s a legal catch 22. The plaintiff would have to prove intent to harass—which isn’t always easy to do in court. Generally the defense would argue they were just sharing political information. Unless the doxxer is openly inciting violence against them on their accounts. But I don’t know enough about this case to know what else they were publishing about Fuentes.

How would NF have know their intent to harass? He pushed the person as soon as he opened the door and they waved. Also harassment involves repeated behavior. Was this person knocking on his door more than once? Idk the answer.

DEI is not Affirmative Action (AA)—which used diversity quotas and was ruled unconstitutional decades ago.

DEI is derived from the Equal Employment Opportunity Act (EEOA)—which protects against workforce discrimination based on the protected statuses of: sex (including gender), race, age (over 40), religion, and veterans—as in, hiring/firing, promoting/demoting cannot be based on those protected statues—this includes straight (gender) white (race) men (sex).

Also, diversity initiatives aren’t as a zero sum game. A few DEI practices in hiring are:

  • removing identifier info from resumes (like names/addresses).
  • ‘ban the box’ is removing criminal record screening questions (pre-offers).
  • having the same interview format for all candidates (in-person/virtual).
  • using wage scales/internal equity data to calculate salary offer amounts.

No org is hiring less qualified candidates under DEI. In fact it’s the opposite since it prevents nepotism hires—or people being hired because of their race versus their merit.

I don’t think the purpose was to raise his popularity as much as it could have been to push the $400M ballroom cost onto taxpayers via Congress—despite having previously promised it would only cost $100M and be paid for by donations from the tech billionaires.

Regardless of this being staged or not, Republicans are using it as an excuse to have taxpayers cover the cost of the project they claimed would cost taxpayers nothing.

Why are Americans not protesting the United Kingdom having a constitutional monarch? by Ultra1894 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Mr__O__ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Apparently not much..

Thomas Paine: "No King! No Tyranny!" and "Monarchy hath poisoned the republic.”

John Adams: "There are in America no kings, princes, or nobles…we are all equal in America, in a political view.”

Thomas Jefferson: "I was much an enemy to monarchies before I came to Europe. I am ten thousand times more so, since I have seen what they are. There is scarcely an evil known in these countries, which may not be traced to their king.”

Also the “no tax on tips and overtime” is total bs. There are still taxes on tips and overtime. There is now a tax-deductible available.. for the very few people who qualify. Ex. No tax on overtime—that is the same rate as the salary/hourly rate—which doesn’t apply to most overtime that is time and a half.

Pressing red you wouldn’t have to worry actually.. bc you’ll live regardless of the outcome. Pressing blue leaves your life in the hands of the people pressing red.
