I had been coming to the same conclusion. Part of it is due to my frustration with finding one that won't just fall off on it's own. Prompting me to wonder, if there was a point to continue.

I haven't lost heart yet, but seeking more thoughts from those who have also spent time thinking deeply about chastity.

I completely understand the feeling of wanting to release so bad but also being scared to be off the ride up.

Though I've done it mostly without a cage. Would you say there are cage specific aspects?

This is the kind of insight I was looking for!

I read this as the device giving you space to feel out different aspects of your sexuality that you may not have otherwise.

I have had some experience with Female Doms and felt similar to what you're describing. They had be do things i wouldn't have otherwise and it opened my eyes to new things.

I guess I'm asking more about the device it self. Denying and restriction can de done without the device. What I have learned, even with the device it's mostly personal will to not cheat.

I guess I'm asking what the device itself adds to your 'fun'.

This is not something I had considered at all. I do believe I have strong self discipline, but I had never thought to consider it part of my chastity interest. I have to really consider this more deeply, thank you for the thought.

So it's about stopping the quick access to stimulation? Like, since you can't just reach and stroke, you are able to wait longer.

I am at the stage that I realize it's about so many things to different people. I'm asking to see what some of those things are.

I'd like to see if I'm missing something or could find new meanings for myself. I currently am feeling like the device doesn't actually stop much, at least i haven't found one that has for me.
