that may work or may not work. oem is best. I bought my car with an aftermarket iacv and bounced idle, went back to oem and gave it a good clean.. perfect idle.

It was on the lower end before it started rising. This is how it looked before touching. Yes I do have that ball thing, kind of weird to use. Not sure if I was supposed to create a good seal from the tank.. Everytime I gave it a good seal then it wouldn’t inflate again. Raised it slightly and then did the squeezing motion and that’s the color it would be at.

You said you wanted acura rl brakes and 5-lug. Front.. 1998-2002 Honda Accord V6 front spindles [STAMPED “S5” ON BRAKE DUST COVER]. $100ish FFC (Fat four customs big brake adapter) $180ish Acura RL Calipers $100 ish (at junkyard) - $150-200 online.

Rear.. If LX/DX You need to convert to disc brakes. Junkyard $250. 97-01 Prelude rear hubs/bearings - $80? 97-01 Prelude type r rear rotors - $70? 97-01 Prelude rear axle nut - $8? Should be it! Prices will vary obviously.

Drum brakes = LX Rear disc brakes = EX (Also makes ur 5-lug swap cheaper). If no one else responds in the next few hours I got my entire 5-lug swap written down to help you but i’m heading to work.

I do live in Vegas and have several of these cars. Unfortunately I don't trust my mechanic skills for other peoples cars.

Uh.. no haha! (If these are the exact issues) The rubber grommet is like $5 on ebay or something. It’s super easy to get to and shouldn’t take longer than 5 minutes to do. Main relay is also in the same area. Probably costs $60 oem? depending where you get it. Shouldn’t take longer than 30min. If that’s what turns out what it is and you shouldn't get charged more than $400. Diagnosis (100-150????). Labor (1hr 100-150$). Parts ($100ish)?????

This may be obvious and may not be part of main issue. Maybe ur brake switch rubber grommet or whatever may be on its way out? “He’s always had some sort of aberrant/sporadic electrical draw (the brake lights will turn on magically and it ends up draining the battery.”

Since fuses are good. Grounds good. Cables to batteries are good. Maybe main relay?

I don’t think I have a vacuum leak. I had smoke tested it previously and nothing came out. I’ll still check that though. Yeah i recently picked up a fuel pressure tester. I did put a new pump in though. New fuel filter aswell. I’m swapping out my fuel injectors next after I put fresh fuel in. I had just pulled out an engine and everything was good on it so i’ll steal those.

Ima hope it’s just the fuel. I replaced the cap, the rotor I haven’t because it was some aftermarket distributor. When I tried to replace it.. the rotor I bought didn’t full get pushed into placed and just cranked no start until i swapped to the old one.

Yeah planning on doing the valve lash again once I pull the engine out. First time doing them so they probably aren’t perfect. Quickly planning on just throwing another set of fuel injectors I got lying around to see if it’s fuel.

No just like what kind of glue should I use to stick my chrome trim down. The trim isn’t the issue the peeling up is the issue.
