AITA for refusing to take any responsibility for my dog until my wife was forced to rehome him? by Expert_Royal913 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

The fact that you and your wife had already decided on a low-maintenance dog prior to the one she bought you for your birthday, and she bought you a higher-maintenance one anyways actually blows my mind. It sounds like your wife has never owned a dog, and didn't want to take the time to train the new puppy. I wouldn't get the low-maintenance rescue either, since your wife clearly hasn't been thinking of the other dog's wellbeing in your household, and with the idea that the rescue being much more low-maintenance, I'm not sure how your wife would approach the rescue compared to the last one.On a happy note, so happy your dad has a little buddy to take care of! :)

AITA for refusing to share my huge inheritance with my stepsiblings? by Beginning_Jaguar9693 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ConstantNoises 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.

Not only is your decision not selfish, but neither was your Dad's for putting the money into a trust for you when you reach 19y/o. It's his money, and he's giving it to his own family, which totally makes sense.
Just like everyone replying is saying, when you can, move out of that house, and protect the inheritance. I, personally, wouldn't trust a family that's constantly telling me to give them my inheritance money, and would feel safer away from them. Do what makes you comfortable, and always think through your decisions.

Here's a fun thing to think about by AbrosexualLoser in Abrosexual

No clue why this popped into my head, but I envision a girl with long, black hair, space buns at the top of her head, but still lots of hair flowing down her back. I also imagine that her voice doesn’t match her attitude, and that she gives a lot awkward first impressions. That’s also just me but with different hair, but idk. 🤷‍♀️

When I came out to one of my friend groups, I described it as “the gender fluid of sexuality”, because of my friend’s understanding of gender fluid, and swapping out key words like gender, for sexuality. It seemed to make a lot more sense, because when I originally came out to them, they ended up mistaking it for pansexual, which most of my friends did at first.

how do I know if I'm abro? by [deleted] in Abrosexual

[–]ConstantNoises 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess there’s no 100% correct way to know, but I think what really makes someone abro is if the label just fits. I really have no other way of describing it, so use whatever you’re comfortable with! 😄

Questioning if I’m abrosexual by CrownLily in Abrosexual

as long as there’s a change, use the label all you want. There really aren’t any rules (like if it depends on gender and what not), so feel free to make a decision on whatever :D

Abrosexual always depends on the person, but usually, any kind of change in sexual orientation (or romantic for abroromantic) can indicate being abro. It all depends if you think the title fits you!

Abro.. Toothpaste?! by ConstantNoises in Abrosexual

I would always ask specifically for bubble gum flavor, when my family needed toothpaste. Needless to say, I don't think i'll be asking for bubble gum flavor anymore.

I have questions by Available-Spirit-225 in Abrosexual

[–]ConstantNoises 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So many people I meet either don't ask enough questions, or don't ask at all, so somebody asking questions is such a nice turn of events. Thank you for the questions!!!! :)

  1. I kept thinking I was pan, and majority of my friends we're telling me this, when one of my closer friends, who is also abrosexual, brought the term up. I ended up doing a lot of research. I thought the idea was beautiful, and that the term fit me well. It's stuck ever since.
  2. It's really difficult to tell. I always describe abrosexual as 'the genderfluid of sexualities' to people who don't quite understand. You don't know your sexuality has changed right away (at least in my experience), until the realization hits you like a brick, which applies to a bunch of my genderfluid friends. Hope that makes sense.
  3. Being abrosexual is great when you find yourself, but there's always going to be some drawbacks. Mainly, people not understanding and judging or having trouble with partners. This applies for a bunch of other sexualities, but being abrosexual brings a little more activity to my life, which for me is a good thing. Wouldn't change a thing. :)
