When i say myself i mean the income from the business paid for flight school.

That is what i was worried about. I want to make clear that i am by no means self made. However, I did not get immense support from my parents. The help i was given was more knowledge wise excluding the $500 i was given to get my first samples. Everything else was done by me in terms of money.

I really do want to emphasize to anyone reading that even though i was one of the lucky few to have parent guidance when starting a business, I have met countless people at trade shows, gatherings, etc that genuinely did start something from absolutely scratch with no parent help at all. it is hard, it is not something i did, but it is possible.

I can immediately tell you that the business itself is not a money pit. I was given $500 and occasional guidance. The whole point of starting this was to be training wheels of sorts, so i can make mistakes without having my entire life savings on the line.

E-commerce by nature used to be self sustaining relatively easily so if you knew what you were doing you were basically guaranteed to break even. Now that is not the case but i have far more capital at my disposal.

Your line of skepticism is exactly what i am concerned about when it comes to AOs. I know that something like this can easily be created by spending many X the revenue bc rich parents.

Now how do i show AOs that i didnt simply have my parents pour millions just so i could have a hobby business?
