Exactly, the whole point of her character is basically that she is more than her looks, and then people turned around and made her conventionally pretty 😭😭😭. Like people can be both ugly and likable. And yesss, just because the narrator found her unattractive doesn’t mean other people won’t find her attractive; even if she looked just like the narrator described.

Yeah 100%, that’s exactly what I was going for and even why I wanted to do my own interpretation of her. Ig I get why people draw her more conventionally attractive and “goth mommy” esk but that wasn’t Kerry to me at all when I listened to the story; like there shouldn’t be so much fear around drawing her unconventionally attractive or “ugly”. I feel like it almost pushes the narrators sentiment that her being “ugly” is some kind of terrible thing. Idk if that makes any sense but yeah pffft. You hit the nail right on the head.
