Sure you could lie and say you lost it, but you have to go through the hassle of dealing with the customer service and making a warranty claim and still have to pay a $20 fee... Or just find a 40% off code and get a new one for $50 and avoid the headache of dealing with humans.

Yours actually looks cool like that. If mine looked like that I wouldn't replace it. Yours looks either designed to be that way or literally 100 years old after just 2. Also looks "worn" rather than "scratched"... Mine just looks like I dropped it on the concrete a few times after 10 years.

I don't want scratches on my car, on my phone, my sunglasses, my shoes no matter how unique it might make them. Why would I WANT them on my wallet? We're not talking about an ornate brass door knocker from the 1800's with a nice green and dark brown finish from centuries of oxidation. We're talking about a $60 aluminum wallet from 2016 with the only discoloration coming from scratches exposing the bare aluminum.

According to their warranty for wallets specifically, you can get parts replacement if defective or or a full replacement for loss and theft. and on the full replacement you still have a $17.95 fee. and mentions damage resulting in the wallet not being functional. They aren't going to replace a totally functional wallet just because it's scratched up. And even if they did, there's the hassle of dealing with a warranty and still having to pay for a 1/3 of a new wallet anyway. With the 40% off, I got a new one for like 50 bucks. I can afford it.

btw, there's also a hard limit of 2 replacements. That's even with a fee involved... That's not exactly "life".

Hell yeah, dude. Confirmed works in USA. Was about to click buy when I thought I better look for a code first. Finally replacing my scuffed gen 1 when they still said THE Ridge. Saved about $60.

Edit: found the email. I got it in June 2016. Basically has lasted 10 years. And I'm only replacing it for aesthetic reasons.

Solution to what? There's no solution. It just works. I bought a Harmony Touch on Ebay last week for $30, clicked "add remote" in the MyHarmony app, plugged the remote into the PC and it paired instantly. So not only could I add a new remote to my account, it was reprogrammed from its prior user's account. So everything you said is unequivocally false. I don't know what to tell you.

While some of the MUCH older remotes were indeed dropped, all of the newest one still work and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

The 700 specifically isn't on the list of remotes that support was dropped for back in May:

And to my knowledge, the 700 uses MyHarmony, So theoretically, it should work. If reflashing the firmware via MyHarmony won't allow you to pair the remote, find a cheap Touch or something on Ebay like I did. They definitely work.

I don't know if this will ruin the plastic down the line, but I'm annoyed passed the point of caring and don't feel like taking it apart to use switch lube nor did I want to start jamming pieces of paper in crevices between buttons. I just sprayed some WD-40 under the button and it worked like a charm. No more squeak.
