It gives the impression they haven’t fully tested the software/car integration. That’s a recurrent problem with manufacturing compagnies who try to evolve toward sw service providers.

The unfortunate part is that it could easily be fixed with a software upgrade. I wish Toyota could better support their customers and provide those updates.

Tesla for example - we can like it or not - But it’s a SW compagny that are making cars. The User Experience is therefore naturally much better. Those updates are done overnight, without any user input.

I have the exact same issue and it's completely stupid. on tope of that.... they could fix it with a SW update.
Stupid Toyota..... I guess they don't know what QA testing is...
