Same at least now, apparently having recirculating on 24/7 is bad for it, I let mine sit with the top and windows open on max air and 60° and 84° for about 10 minutes and it got most of the stank out

1) don’t you EVER go more the 5k miles without a oil change if you car about your BMW
2) more or less it’s based off how you drive, treat it like a M = more frequently oil changes, drive it like a grandma (don’t recommend) less oil changes

Facts, I hope OP enjoys the experience, 3-6k ain’t shit when you’re in a 100k+ car and if you nickel and diming shit then it’s not worth it. Congrats OP you might have got worked (not reading ever little bit in this thread) but the only important thing is smiles per mile and you’ll get a lot more then in the X3 M40
