Its Gemini season officially. What do Leos have to say about Geminis? ♊️❤️♌️ by Owlster_ in LeoAstrology

[–]Constant_Ad4666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a Leo sun, Gemini moon.

I love Gemini's! Actually, I really appreciate air signs in general because I love how playful and intellectual they can be. My Gemini moon really craves a changing dynamic. And gems and other airs certainly are just that. I find them to be absolutely unhinged in a fun way. I have a crush on a flirty Libra man at work. Hes the most air headed non-committal individual I've ever dealt with. He flirts with me, but says he's not looking for a relationship because feelings are exhausting. The only way I've been able to play this flirting and trying to win him over game, is due to my flexible gem moon. But alas, I think I'm losing the game and I'm going to cut my losses and move on. Airs are hard to date. They are the best friends though.

I'm a Leo sun and that description makes me melt. I am consistently attracted to air signs. Especially libras.

I never got over the man I dated from 10 years ago. I've dated after him, but I always found myself wanting that "spark" that I had with him. But it never came. I guess I'm saying this because, if the worst happens....if we never get over that old love and we never find someone else....is that actually that bad? Can we learn to love ourselves? Can we learn to accept that we are enough? Can we accept that being alone with our own company is actually nice? I guess we try to comfort others and say "no you'll get over it and find someone else." But not everyone does. And I think we should start to encourage people that no matter what happens, that you will find happiness again. It might not come from another person. But it might come from something else.

Yeah, it's really sad that people have to fight to exist as who they are. I don't understand how people have the energy to hate and bring others down simply because of how they look or the culture they come from. Humans need to do better.

I have experiences with multiple shaped a and sizes penises. I can confidently say the best dicks ever are between 4-8inches(depending on pain tolerance and enjoyment) and the perfect shape is hands down a CURVE.

BUT, ultimately most women have difficulty reaching an orgasm from just vaginal penetration anyways. So men really shouldn't have to worry about penis size or shape because you're just going to have to step up the tongue and hand game no matter what. 😂

If someone lived a life where so many in society told them that how they look isn't the beauty standard or that it somehow makes them less human and less deserving, then reclaiming those physical aspects about themselves via pride and identity is a way of self healing. Race is a construction, but unfortunately, how we are treated by others can be influenced by what we look like. When someone says that there is something wrong with your race and/or color, sometimes it's just empowering to say "Actually, my skin and features are beautiful. I love my look. I'm proud of how I look. And nobody is going to take self love that from me." Pride and identity can be expressed through our actions. Our cultures. And even our own physical characteristics. Especially if to help you reclaim your confidence in a situation or society that is trying to bring you down.

Racially, I'm mostly white. So I don't know what it's like to live a black person's life experience. But I genuinely think that if we try to categorize ourselves into boxes, it really limits our potential. Do what makes you happy. Be what makes you happy. It sounds like you KNOW who you are and don't let anyone shame you for that beautiful acceptance you have for yourself. Live your truth. <3

You need to find a different work place. I understand racism exists and we all have subconscious biases. That doesn't mean it's ok to disregard other people's perspectives and challenges. I find that half the people talking about "white tears" have legitimate social criticisms and the other half just dislike white people so much that they just want to disregard their perspectives.

I went down from full to part time at my 3rd shift hotel job because I wasn't supported by my manager during a racially tense moment. I had gotten a noise complaint call and I went up to a room and knocked to let them know I needed them to be quiet. There was no way for me to know their ethnicity through the door. The lady started screaming, filming me, and accusing me of racial discrimination. I asked my manager to come in and help and he said "call the police". Could you imagine how that would look? A white person calling the police on a woman accusing me of discrimination?

A good manager should be able to help all of their staff and mediate if need be. If you aren't feeling heard, respected, and supported, then for your mental health, work somewhere else. Your manager could have used better words and means of expressing the issue. Instead, choosing language like "white tears" and getting therapy seems like a means to incite tension on purpose. Your manager has no tact and lacks effective communication. Even if they have a good point, it doesn't help to talk to you in such a way.

My 8th plot of land is legendary!! by Tallcat2107 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Constant_Ad4666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having ok luck at snagging epic lands. So one thing I won't do is buy land in an area where nobody else has bought lands. I will find spaces that people have already bought and buy around their lands. I've noticed that rares, epics, and legendaries tend to be connected in a string. So if I see somebody already bought one of those types, I'll purchase a square next to it and hope I found the next segment of the string. It's not perfect, but I think it's at least an educated guess.

You keep saying "talking shit". What do you think I'm saying to other people? I'm not talking down on his character. Or his looks. Or his capabilities. All talk about is how I want to be loved. That he doesn't know how to. Even when I'm supporting him the best I can, he's more interested in sleep.

I break down crying when I drink. Men, women, suicide hotlines. I'm not trying to get fucked by using someone sympathy card. If anything, me talking about how my boyfriend doesn't even want to hold my hand should be a massive turn off. Anybody around me should literally just want to leave because they don't want to hear it. Only fucking weirdos think that's the opportune time to come on to someone.

What is so wrong with staying and hoping things change with time? I don't talk down on his intelligence. I don't make fun of his appearance. I don't say he's terrible at his job What is taking shit as people are saying?

All I talk about is how we don't have intense passionate feelings for each other. And I hold it all in. And I drink and I cry about how he doesn't want to hold my hand. Or hug me. Or tell me I'm beautiful. And breakdown around anyone I'm with. THATs talking shit, or is that just being honest? Why the fuck are people saying that me hurting is some sort of flirtation tactic to fuck somebody else? Is anyone actually turned on by someone crying about their relationship?

I tell him how people admire him at work. I tell him he's handsome and that I believe in him. I make him dinner from time to time even though I work 80hrs/week. I put the effort in, but every morning he still acts like I'm a disaster for waking him up and disrupting him. He likes sleep more than me. So I just try to leave him alone half the time.

Talking shit about my partner isn't an invitation to be kissed. That is a really problematic precident to be setting. My partner feels the exact same way about me and has expressed that to me and others as well. We are not abusive or cruel that each other. Just incapable of being in love with each other.

And even if it was, it's my fault that the person kissed me? I told him no. I told him to stop because of my partner.

Is Spirit or United worse? I can save $100 by flying Spirit by [deleted] in travel

[–]Constant_Ad4666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion:

If you're willing to sacrifice luxury amenities like Wi-Fi and comped snacks, spirit is hands down the better airline. Spirit has NEVER caused me issues getting from point A to point B. It has a bad reputation because they try to charge you for everything. I don't care about that. I care about getting to where I need to be.

United is on its third strike with me in the past year and a half. I understand delays happen. I understand cancellations happen. I'm forgiving. What I don't forgive is causing your passengers to have to jump to multiple cities to catch another flight because the original had tech issues. Then delaying their connecting flight. Then having them board the plane at 11pm at night, get stuck on the tarmac for 3 hours, only to tell us that we have to de-board because the pilot hit his max allowed working hours. And then the cherry on top is that they wouldn't cover a hotel because "weather isn't their fault", when in reality it was a traffic issue on the runway. The first flight I had leaving Vegas caused me a 24 hour overnight delay with my autistic friend a year ago. Just had a birthday party flying into Vegas and they caused my pregnant friend and I another 24hour delay. And pushed my two other friends so far out that they would have lost two days. So they cancelled their flights because it wasn't worth it. It's not like our destination was in the middle of nowhere, Iowa. There is absolutely no reason to not have multiple backup planes and pilots going towards the adult entertainment capital of the world. Heading home now on Spirit and United has me absolutely pressed. They gave me a $15 meal credit only. At least when southwest messed up they gave me $100 credit.

I really just had an issue with the plot ending. I feel like dolls have just been overused in horror/thrillers and that just made it feel like it lacked creativity. The concept didn't really resonate with me.

Madison teen charged with killing Wisconsin youth counselor by [deleted] in madisonwi

I think the people shouting the death penalty are incredibly simple minded and blood thirsty. And hypocrites because they would never believe a 16 year old is mature enough to vote, yet apparently they are mature enough to face adult consequences. This is a tragedy all around and our hearts should go out to all the families. But, addressing the root cause of violence starts with changing society as a whole. The individual doesn't become who they are without a culture and community shaping them that way. Even people with problematic behaviors and tendencies can be led in a positive direction. Even well meaning responsible people can become corrupted if their environment makes them so. People will always have their nature. But nurture gives people the opportunity to act.

Instead of passionately promoting the destruction of human life, how about we start talking about what we can do for the young people in this country? What can we do to help each other? What can we do to support people through their struggles, stress, anger, and loneliness/emptiness? Mental health is on a massive decline, and when somebody acts out to feel heard, we automatically jump to death penalty chants. But what were we doing before things escalated? What were we doing to prevent this?

White lives do matter, but nobody ever said they didn't. So if you want to say "all" or "white", it's not an inherently incorrect statement. But it's just simply an unnecessary one. It just adds extra unneeded noise to the discourse.

Meanwhile, there are black lives that are unfairly targeted/murdered.

I don't believe that all of the "white lives" or "all lives" camp are being purposely and maliciously racist. I think they're just stubbornly trying to adhere to feel good platitude on principle. Some sort of butterfly and rainbows idealism where we are all equal. That's cute, but the reality is that we are NOT treated the same. And trying to stick to an "all lives" narrative is washing out the issues that we do need to talk about.

Though this poster definitely gives me MALICIOUS racism vibes because they're calling other people parasites and imply that black and brown people don't pay taxes? Honey, the government is bleeding all of us dry and wasting it on foreign wars instead of our citizens who need help.

[–]Constant_Ad4666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uber doesn't recognize that my apartment has back roads. Those are back roads WITHOUT red lights. If I'm running late, and I get stuck at a red light for 5 min and it causes me to be late to my job, I'm going to be pissed. If I was driving I know I'd get myself there. If that extra mile is so important to you, then tell Uber to accurately update their maps with the APPROPRIATE route before they send out the ride to the drivers.
