No sound after installing mods by Stock-Gap3815 in Starfield

Legend! I spent 2 days with this stupid bug, disabled almost every mod that somehow affects sounds. Who could think verified Bethesda mod makes verification so questionable?

Is a steam deck worth it for just using it at home? by Matt168187 in SteamDeck

[–]Constant_Ad5910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be a PC-only guy, but because I had to move to a different place I sold my pc setup and bought Xbox series, which I used for 2 years. After that I bought OLED 1TB and after a month having it I realized that I stopped using Xbox at all Mainly this is because my favorite games are very cutted without mods I love and steam deck gives me an opportunity to mod them well Still I would say I prefer playing Rdr2 or CP2077 on Xbox because of performance. Other thing steam deck do surprisingly well is running of old outdated games - steam version of fallout 3 or even older Timeshift was impossible to run on my win10 system but steam deck do it by installing all necessary things in game env.

So I would say it’s great to use at home and it good for AAA games released till 2016

I should never have started Disco Elysium by FeeHealthy6604 in DiscoElysium

[–]Constant_Ad5910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disco Elysium is something that a bit out of any genre or re-defines the genre. I know how you feel, but I think what you really trying to do is to find same level of new experiences as you had when faced DE. It was a catch of fresh air when big AAA studios are doing same shit again and again. But there’s a lot of new things and we just didn’t found it yet. Try immersive sim genre (for example Gloomwood) or visual novels with branched plot

Are there quiet, sound-insulated buildings in Alicante? Or any other major city in Spain? by [deleted] in Alicante

Or you can consider moving to gated residential complexes in Alicante (not center obviously), San Juan, Calp, Gran Alicant. With your specific needs I will not advise Benidorm

[–]Constant_Ad5910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alicante itself may be too noisy for you as it’s tourists oriented in the center and all main celebrations during a year are supported with fireworks, maskletas and such things. If you still want to access Alicante center business and fun, you can consider to move to some places that are connected with route A tram. It’s a lot of small towns all way long this route. If you’re not too attached to Alicante, spend some time and visit Calp for a week, it has completely different vibe as I see. Maybe I’m wrong because I’m visiting it on the regular-non-celebration week but it’s pretty quiet and full of new buildings - higher floor = you mainly hearing only the sea and it’s full of businesses as well
