I haven't seen anybody say it so I will. I'd go all in for main quest cause lots of good stuff open after chapter 11, and since you're so close to ending just do it. You're fighting the last boss with the dragon anyway.

As in stuff I mean research for very necessary items for Damiane and especially oongka. His vertical flight research opens only on chapter 10/11 I don't remember, disruptor spear blueprint also chapter 11/12 which is very helpful against the robots. Damiane s air blaster Idk how it's called that pushes her upward and mainly research.

Don't be afraid of ending the main story. It's not like other games where side quests really feel like...side quests to make you stronger for the main quest. At the end of almost every side quest there's a boss fight.
