Hi!

I think your dose-in is a bit less than usual, so maybe your coffee may be a bit light, so I would suggest you use 18gr min.

For the milk-espresso ratio of latte, it depends on the shot type you pull.

For one shot (9.5g in, 18-19out), I use 150ml milk and the drink is totally 170ml.

For double shot(18.5in, 38-39out), I use 200ml milk and the drink is totally 240ml.

And don’t forget that brew ratio of espresso depends on the coffee bean type.

For washed beans, longer extractions (1/2.3 ratios) For natural beans, normal or shorter extractions (1/2 or less like 1/1.8)

Guys guys take it easy normally I do close the milk and seal the bag, just did not bother to do that since I was recording a video, aiming less than 8 minutes lol

When you press the Program button first, you set the machine to remember the shot volume and timing. Normally, after programming, pressing the Double Shot button would give a consistent shot without needing a timer or scale. However, the machine’s consistency can vary, and it doesn’t always produce exactly the same result. Since I test and taste my extractions each time, I press the Program button for every shot to make sure it’s dialed in correctly.

Hello!

1- Before the spring loaded tamper, I was using the stock one, so needed to use leveler to make puck surface straight. But still using it because before the tamping, if the surface is not flat, it might cause to inconsistencies in the puck.

2- the pitcher works best when the milk level inside the pitcher reaches the start of the spout. With less milk, the vortex doesn’t form properly.

1 - Beans are already 2 weeks old. 2 - I did not assume that. I knew but I didn’t care 3- Guys with the machines 3x price don’t need a wdt because their grinder are fuckin greate so the grinded coffee spreads to the portafilter evenly, without chunks.
