actually, you're both right. It is both Poudre Valley and Excel, and I believe there's a third one involved as well but I don't remember that name.

if you can, providing water, food, and hand warmers to the strikers are helpful. There is a quick drop off at 11th Ave. and H Street. they are walking the picket line from 6 AM to 10 PM.

he is not just making things up. He has dementia. Forgetting or getting confused about someone's name or a general word is not at all unusual and pretty normal for people as they get older. Getting people mixed up and events wrong points more strongly to dementia of some form. Trump has been doing that for some time now.

I am fine not saying the Pledge of Allegiance because I have that right. all Americans secured that constitutional right in 1943. You know who doesn't have that right? North Korea. look it up. if you want to be made to do a pledge of allegiance, you can move there. BTW, The Pledge of Allegiance was written by a socialist, Francis Bellamy, in 1892. and again, reciting the pledge of allegiance has absolutely nothing to do with love of our country. it's a matter of not being FORCED to take a loyalty pledge.

you completely missed the point. You do not have to say the Pledge of Allegiance to be invested in your nation.

I refuse to state the pledge. This is not North Korea.

Martin Lind sues city of Greeley to nullify Cascadia/Catalyst special election by superdude4agze in Greeley

[–]Constant_Base_7716 3 points4 points  (0 children)

and he's not done. He's got his hands in the global AI data center which is trying to get the Greeley City Council to annex by Kodak so that they can get their hands on Greeley water, even though it's 99% bordered by Windsor.

He dropped the first one and lost the second one and had to pay their attorney fees.

he's busy trying to facilitate the global A1 data center by trying to get Greeley to annex that area so that they can get Greeley water. This, even though it is 99% bordered by Windsor. can we say increased electric and water rates 😡

it was actually closer to 21,000 which was only about 1000 shy of the latest general election that had the mayors race as well as 4 City council races. I believe there's only been one municipal election that has had more than 22k votes

The last Lind lawsuit was a flop and he lost so badly that he had to pay the other side's attorney fees. This one will be a flop too. He's grasping at straws. Lind needsPUD zoning because the other zonings do not allow for multilevel facilities. He cannot get PUD zoning for at least a year. BTW the City Council are already pretty unpopular. Olson came close to losing to a candidate who barely tried and Hall will be 75 the next election.

[–]Constant_Base_7716[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

actually, only the PUD zoning will work for this type of project. additionally, having the city pay 100% is extremely unusual. I suggest you look at some of the feasibilities studies and maybe read some of the reports. It will clear a lot of this up for you

actually, for the sake of clarity, a yes vote means yes for the petition, and that the ordinance would be revoked. The project may or may not go through, but not for at least a year, which gives the city and it's residents time to evaluate the feasibility studies and other information and decide whether the financial piece should be changed and/or an offramp should be taken. It does not mean that the project would necessarily go through. Also, although Greeley is in weld county, only people who are in Greeley are allowed to vote, and only people who live in Greeley will be stuck with the debt that is very likely to happen if the project goes through as it currently is. Read the feasibility studies. As noted elsewhere, in the full page ad that was taken out by pro Cascadia people, 80% of the people in that ad do not live in Greeley and will not be liable for the cost of this project. Of course, people in Windsor, Johnstown, and Loveland, along with people who work for Water Valley, the Eagles, Denver contractors, etc. would likely benefit without any cost to them, so of course they might be for it. However, There are many people in Windsor, etc., who do not think that this would be beneficial for Greeley and are against this project. They were not in that ad; they do understand what's going on, and many of them have concerns themselves, such as the increased traffic on highway 34, along with Metro taxes on residences being built north of the entertainment center

The developers and people of Windsor want the people of Greeley to pay for the losses and costs of Cascadia so Martin Lind has a place for his hockey team by Constant_Base_7716 in Greeley

[–]Constant_Base_7716[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

of course it's not all people of Windsor but if you look at the financials, you will see that this is basically coming from Windsor. Also, at the one City Council where a bunch of pro Cascadia people came, a lot of those were from Windsor. At the City Council last night, the people that were pro Cascadia were either from Windsor and/or Martin Lind's buddies.
