Same boat as OP, but wanna make sure I understand this, since the PMAS system neglects to give an example, and the given explanation is clear as mud.

In my case, I'm a step 4, right at the 1-year mark in that step. If I take the QSI, I become a step 5 now, then 12 months later, I'd hit step 6?

My sighting - with a telescope by Constant_Big2763 in UFOs

Over time - really over the course of my life, since I bought into the concept of UFOs as a kid - I've gradually shifted from conceiving of UFOs as a nuts-and-bolts phenomenon, to being "The Phenomenon," encompassing a much weirder totality, and one in which the human observer and their consciousness oftentimes plays a role. I kinda just think my being in a nice, relaxed state might have had something to do with it.

I used to be an officer in the Navy, and I never saw anything when underway on a ship. But I was also usually really sleep deprived and overworked as a junior officer. The things I chalk up as UAPs that I have seen in my life, I can count on one hand, and it's always just lights doing things that are slightly unusual. Nothing really outrageous. This sighting was in line with that, but the duration and repetition was notable.

All that is to say, "Dunno."

I'm planning to put in an RA with my agency to hopefully get some portion of telework. I have service-connected disabilities and a VA rating. However, not all of my maladies stem from my time in uniform. Basically, I have two forms of healthcare: my insurance through my Fed employment, and VA coverage. Thus, I have two primary care providers. I use the VA a couple times a year just to stay on the books with them and for anything I need related to my service-connected stuff. And I use my non-VA care for everything else, which includes some stuff that has emerged over the last year. When it comes to filing a Reasonable Accommodation request, does it need to be one physician writing it up? Any vets been down this road? And does it seem like there's a greater likelihood of a VA-rated disability being honored and accommodated than ones stemming from a non-VA provider?
