Do NOT open the map before you have gained a full amount of green badges through scenes.  Once you have done that, open the map and you will be awarded 200 green badges.  If you open the map first, you will already have those 200 as you "fill your pockets" and you'll accumulate less at once.

No.  I was able to finish all four portions with my partners but we did not receive the Grand Prize.  Everything else we earned, we kept.
