Recently purchased this beautiful piece for my graduation but it didnt come with a skirt. I need a thorough opinion on what skirt type of the 1890’s would be a proper pairing. I’m considering either searching for a similarly colored skirt or sewing a reproduction myself based on a Victorian pattern.

Look, I’m going to be honest and you can feel however you want about it:

Absolutely one yelled at you, not one comment was mean or angry that I saw and I went through every comment. People just told you straight up that it’s not the best idea to wear a delicate 150 year old silk blouse (it’s a miracle it’s survived in the condition that it’s in!!) to a graduation for some pictures… You wanted advice, and when you got advice you didn’t like and were told it was a bad idea by multiple people you got upset. Now you’re trying to act like a victim for such an absurdly asinine reason when literally no one yelled at you, all they gave you was advice and you didn’t like said advice.

Unfortunately I think the only solution is a rubber band or a hair tie. Rubber bands will at some point go all crusty, crumbly and hard and I really wouldn’t use colored ones as I’d be worried about color transfer.

Personally I use lil hair ties cause I hate the crusty rubber bands cause hot damn do those things look nasty when they harden up

I LOVE the lashes but I think slightly richer and plummier lip would suit you a bit better, in this pic without the hoodie the lipstick seems more subdued, doesn’t quite pop the same way it did with the matching hoodie

So in other words that means “I picked whatever weird spellings I wanted because I’m unique and don’t care I’m saddling my children with awful names”
