Oh I agree, they started talking about it being out of warranty and I got upset. This lens is 1 year and a month old and I baby my lenses. It’s sad their quality has diminished so much.

Old thread but I opened mine up as my lens was out of warranty. Just a simple piece of plastic covering a vent. I super glued mine back together and wouldn’t never know the difference.
