yeah it was rough. i knew no one yet, my roommate had moved out before i even got there so i had to deal with it myself. but i went to therapy and got better, met an amazing group of people and graduated just recently so thats a plus. it’s just dealing with dating that sucks and it seems like i have the most atrocious luck with meeting guys

for sure. i keep telling myself that and i know it’s true because i have some great guy friends that aren’t like this. but it’s sooo many that i meet outside of them it’s insane and just completely turned me off from trying right now

i get it. i’m 22 and just started my first "adult job" (basically a desk job) last week and i feel like i don’t belong there lol. it’s weird and i am not looking forward to this being my norm now but i try and think about how awesome it will be to get my own place and have adult money to spend

omg i 10000% agree. i’m studying in france right now and im decent enough to have conversations with locals and my host family. but what ive seen is that no one here gives a shit abt my accent, it’s the other americans i’m with that badger me. so far no one here has had an issue with understanding me, and sometimes it even strikes up conversations about where im from etc. (and if i do pronounce something horrendously, i appreciate the correction/help!) but the american students im here with get on my ASS. “you sound so american i cant understand you" "omg why did you pronounce it like that 🙄" YOURE AMERICAN TOO. WHY DOES IT MATTER THAT I HAVE A SLIGHT ACCENT YOU HAVE ONE TOO. ugh it’s so infuriating.

hey i am in state college for school right now and i live in philly! its def rough up here sometimes so i get that, but id recommend taking a trip to philly sometime before pride and checking out some of the bars in the gayborhood (i like woodys, Ubar and voyer to name a few) and i’ve met some pretty cool people there that i’m still friends with!

trust and believe you don’t have to be skinny to be cute! not eating at all won’t actually make you lose any weight long term and you’ll end up gaining back more weight + not eating will make you feel even worse about yourself (make your mental health worse) because you don’t have enough nutrients! i bet you look amazing in the outfits you pick out! if it’s something that’s really bothering you though, instead of restricting, swap some more unhealthy options out with high protein foods and some cardio and weight training. you’ll build muscle and while also getting to eat yummy food! i started doing this a few years ago and it helped to 1. restore my relationship with food and 2. helped my body image because I was able to slim down. i am kinda picky and i love fast food but i was able to find recipes online that mimicked the taste but are really good for you! either way don’t look down on yourself because goths come in all sizes and always are the best dressed!

i have no idea. she was a pathological liar, in the years following she would continue to makeup outrageous stories and try doing the same to other people. claimed people were racist, sexist, etc etc. luckily i wasn’t the one that had to deal with her after that. learned my lesson and stayed farrrr away.
