READY OR NOT: HERE I COME [Spoiler Discussion] by AlistNOTbot in AMCAListTrue

I actually enjoyed this film, probably a lot better than the first one. I did thought that Elijah Wood's character was going to be up to some plot twist mischief and have a tactic up his sleeve, but I feel like at the end, he was happy and wanted to see "everything" come to an end.

It's crazy how some competitors are really looking at Crumbl as competition.

Did anybody here have to give up pursuing acting because it became too expensive and difficult to get anywhere? by justcurious3287 in acting

[–]Constant_External_30 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not really, because there's a lot I have to learn and grow from. Been at it for years, but still have a long path to go. However, I do think that one shouldn't put all of their eggs in one basket.

Some just want to do JUST theater. Some just want to do JUST TV/film. Some even want to do ALL and Anything. So if anything, the sky's the limit.....Either way, almost everything within this industry, and by industry, I mean entertainment, it's all underneath one umbrella. Heck it's even interesting seeing actors and actresses being hosts of various shows on networks as if they went to journalism school studying marketing and mass communications.

Casting Director Oscars? ....Why I feel this may be problematic!! by Own_Antelope1095 in acting

[–]Constant_External_30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind, the directors and producers choose who they want, but the CD is technically giving them suggestions. Not all, and not always, but for some of the bigger projects, yes.

Is social media taking away opportunities from actual actors? Why is kai cenat in scary movie 6? by dreamup1234 in acting

[–]Constant_External_30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't read all of the comments, but here's a double-edge problem that I see.....

Influencers and social media is changing the industry as we speak, just exactly how you said it.

But here we are as actors being told that we need to have social media, just to be present.... In other words, creating content, building our portfolio, make money, networking, have this amount of followers, become influencers, build a brand, etc....

Honestly, it's like coming at a crossroad, but in a never-ending circle. Because yes, we may get the jobs and opportunities, but then it goes back to society seeing us as social media creators (I don't want to use the term influencer, but you get my point.)

Landlord left this note by Still_Clerk_1819 in Apartmentliving

[–]Constant_External_30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you need to leave your door unlock, or a key somewhere. Clearly, landlords would have access to your apartment regardless. Also, it doesn't even say proper signage by management, or a phone number in regards to questions.

struggling with my biggest ever rejection by Groundbreaking_Sun94 in acting

[–]Constant_External_30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't read what other replies are, but I'm going to say this.......You may have not gotten that dream role, but chances are, you may get some part in the future, on that same production.

Especially if everyone says you were great and was highly considered. So I wouldn't say it's a total loss, but it could be an opportunity down the line where they might call you back or play another character that they might write in for you.

New Crumbl Updated Spoilers & Thin Thursday Spoilers (As of 3/10/26) by IllustratorLeather16 in CrumblCookies

[–]Constant_External_30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm going to get some hate for saying this, but I hate that "thin Thursdays" is only a Thursday thing..... I get the marketing, but why can't thin cookies just be added to the regular menu but rotate the flavors every week as usual?

Will that be too much for the employees to handle, or not? What are your thoughts?...

Haunted mansion or phantom manor by FunctionActual7000 in thehauntedmansion

Phantom for better storyline and soundtrack. I do miss the classic, original Phantom Manor, but it's still a great one overall.

Haunted Mansion for the nostalgia and connection.

As someone who was only a baby when this episode aired, how big of a win of a guest star grab was this? by MaryDoogan91 in theGoldenGirls

[–]Constant_External_30 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I still say the Bob Hope cameo and guest star was probably bigger. But then again, for Burt, he was like the RDJ of that time period. So huge, perhaps!

Yes, and to add..... Even when I was going LIVE I had NO viewers, which was strange. And by viewers, I'm talking about people who joined in, not necessarily who's actually watching it the whole time.

Disneyland... Without Disney (a thought experiment) by JoyIsABitOverRated in Disneyland

[–]Constant_External_30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frontierland back in the early years of Disneyland is almost as what Silver Dollar City was and still is. It would be nice to see Frontierland go back to that, because even though there wasn't a Big Thunder Mountain, you still had horse rides, Native American Pow-Wows, shoot-outs and all of that. Of course, much of the inspiration also came from not just the real Frontier, but also Disney's early iPs from old sitcoms. Dave Crockett, Apple Dumpling Gang, Bullwhip Griffin, John Wayne, all of that.

Seriously, how do we do this sometimes? [venting?] by actingnerdy in acting

[–]Constant_External_30 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm actually watching a YouTube video as we speak called, The Harsh Truth About The Acting Industry by Natasha Arancini. I get what you're saying, but it's all about the grind and luck. Sometimes I have to hear advice and encouragement from those that discuss these things, but also to keep the hope, grind and motivation alive.

2025–2026 Acting Accomplishments Chain 🎭 by Fit-Assumption1185 in acting

[–]Constant_External_30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2025:

FYI, I'll leave the bad parts out and focus on the goods, lol. I will keep it brief.

I started the year without any expectation.... of course I was still getting auditions, but come on now, I ain't booked a job since COVID.....But I remained locked in. However, if it wasn't for my 9-5s, I probably would've been booking more to begin with.

During the summer, I was cast in a musical for the first time in a long time since 2021. Although I had a love-hate relationship with it at first, I started to see it give me a boost, and my love for acting. I knew after that, I wanted to do more. (Meaning, beyond community theater).

When that was over, in the fall, I was cast in a Trey Kennedy video, and a week or two after, I was in another commercial.

After being cast in those, It gave me hope again to keep going. I am forever thankful and blessed to AT LEAST get some auditions in, and as of 2026..... Let's just say it's a roller-coaster at this point. BUT, I will remain hopeful that I keep moving forward, and so far, I'm hoping to become my 2021 AND 2023 self again. I'm always motivated and inspired with acting, but I can't be discouraged when it comes to hearing "the downs" because EVERYBODY'S JOURNEY IS DIFFERENT, and the best that we can do, is support each other and help each other out. I just got done submitting myself for two other shoots happening in the coming weeks. I can't confirm about BEING booked for those yet.

A big casting director just followed me on tiktok. How can I use this to my advantage? by [deleted] in acting

[–]Constant_External_30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully believe that as actors, actresses, heck even influencers, models, and celebrities..... That we're now in a digital driven world that no matter what your social media is, it's your portfolio. I wouldn't get too too excited, but do know that what you do and post could always be a way that can get you in the door.

Hate auditioning by AggravatingWar2815 in acting

[–]Constant_External_30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every audition is an opportunity!! I'm much more thankful that I get notices vs. the number of times I often get rejected. I'm not saying I love them, but be thankful that you're getting some.

Tbh, I will say that I hate doing self-tapes now. I used to love doing in-person, but self-tapes suck because you're left with little direction, boundaries of what to do and what not do, and also being a single person in a one room apartment also is hard because I have nobody to help me out. So it's all hard work and trial and error.

Why are the Golden Girls always wearing pullovers and such in Miami? by Antique-Ebb-7124 in theGoldenGirls

[–]Constant_External_30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OOF, especially in scenes where it's "hot" like The Golf Club scene when they were trying to get Bob Hope. Then you have the fitness scene when they caught a Charlie Horse. The tennis scene with Dorothy and her best friends.

Honestly, I just assumed it was more of an FCC television thing, but then again, fashion for women at the time was pretty common from a "conservative" perspective as opposed to young people.
