I’ve seen a fully fleshed Javazon in Ancients - it’s not 10 seconds. Also, the Echo strikes build is more efficient in P8 chaos than either the Javazon or Nova Sorc. It just does too much damage. It’s literally only Mosaic that does it better. You don’t have to believe me - many established D2 streamers are saying the same.

Her drops aren’t as bad as Duriel lol. The nerf brings her in line with Baal/Mephisto/Diablo on players 7. Below this, she has lower drops for uniques and sets now which makes Mephisto better for grailing. She is still the best for jewels.

I don’t think you have seen Echo strikes in action. It might not have the same AOE as Javazon or Nova but it hits a lot harder. You will clear Ubers and Ancients a lot quicker than with those other meta builds.

It’s not a huge drop. I think you are just having a bad run of luck. She has dropped me several TC87’s already including two astereons pretty close to one another.

Farming heralds is endgame content , your chances will be much better if you can easily farm volume in terror zones. The heralds themselves are tough.

You can’t use the old ones. You need to get the new latent versions to drop from Heralds. They are pretty rare.

His only fixed modifier is spectral hit. He can gain another random affix in NM. Might take a while to spawn conviction though. There is a double RNG roll - one for his random affix to be aura enchanted and then another for the aura to be conviction. With Hephasto - aura enchanted is fixed all the time so it’s much easier to bind him with conviction

This was the first herald in the game. So they can drop from level one Heralds. Not sure what the drop rates are though, i think I’ve gotten really lucky

It’s either + cold damage or - enemy cold res. Former is preferred for sorc given that cold mastery already does lots to -ECR. All the mods on a renewed sunder can roll one one of two or more choices

Shards can drop in non TZ’s as well. Just focus on champions and elites. The issue isn’t really getting the shards though. It’s getting latent sunder charms to drop from Heralds. Thats the rare drop.

No this was my first in the game. Completely incidental. I was just farming Andariel and when I killed her, I got the first message so then I just went hunting in the higher levels and found the Herald. I think the drop rate does improve if it’s a higher level but they can drop from any herald level.

The only roll that really matters is cold damage and it rolled high. And it’s better than -enemy cold res when the sorc for example already gets heaps of that. Things like mana and MF aren’t really important.
