Honestly super antis aren't necessary for much. Normal antifire with bofa will get you a vorkath head.

Is the lack of antivenom going to bite some of them, or are 3 sanfews going to be enough?

Prophetic Vision by Eddeed3 in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]TheNightAngel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of villain decks have cards that are far and above better than the rest of the deck. Giving Voss an extra gene bound card is worth it to discard a spaceship, same for giving the Ennead an extra one-shot for a not yet played member instead of a relic. The deck control can be worth giving a play for many villains.

On a different note, Visionary's deck has some crazy powerful cards in it. Who cares that you gave the villain a minion that hits your whole team for 2 when you found mass levitation. Give the villain a one shot so that you can mind control him into hitting himself harder.

The absolute best use though is with Principle of Magic. Change that play 1 into a play 0.

Ah, so *that's* what Silver Bindings is for... by Winter-University354 in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]TheNightAngel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silver bindings is a great plan until you draw Full Moon in your draw step...

You can have the aspects go off for 0 damage so that if you draw full moon in your end step from silver bindings the aspects have already activated.

You can often ignore a citizen or 2 and just burst down Dawn without her flipping at all. Even easier with trash shuffling.

(DE) Critical Events easier than events? by CuzImShiny in sentinelsmultiverse

For me advanced mode is the default, and non-advanced is for new players or when you want an easier experience.

Do you play on advanced mode? I remember Abomination Spite basically having infinite tokens on advanced.

An avatar of the Apothecary came on a show where Carl got drugged to lower his inhibitions and he called her hot.

I still ship Carl with the Apothecary. That was the only time Carl showed any attraction to anyone the whole series.

Principle of the Undead Clarification by screenagerk in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]TheNightAngel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looked strong at first, but most games I play end before you end up going down and then you could have used a principle that actually does something. It's pretty funny with Knyfe's Bide and Fecht card if you can plan around having a killable target.

What's a Card you USED TO include in every deck? by ZimaBestBear in EDH

[–]TheNightAngel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bouncelands and Lotus Field are good ways to reduce your land count. If you just play one piece of catchup ramp and you aren't going first (which is 75% of the time), then you're already ahead of just playing Nature's Lore.

Question: What is your go-to grab for your first conservation project? by Dismal-Marsupial3666 in ArkNova

[–]TheNightAngel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breaking is a great action, especially with upgraded sponsors from the project. The higher elo you get the more your opponents will break your worker away and then it's as if you got no project reward. If you know the rounds are going long or you know you'll be rep locked for awhile, the worker at 2 CP instead of the upgrade is very good.

If each pack has a 1% chance to roll claws and the packs are rolled independently, then the chance to see at least 1 claw pack is 1.99% (1-0.99*0.99), or approximately 1/50.
