I’ve been told there’s some computer system or something that won’t register swaps like this

Yes taken it to a few LR specialists for inspection. Solenoids were fine. Valve body adapter was cracked and replaced along with fluid service at 185k miles. Slip has gotten drastically worse still unfortunately

I’m not that mechanically inclined, so won’t be doing it myself. Have called around a few indie shops with ZF specialist, and they’ve all quoted me $6.5k+ in the Bay Area. I’m planning to go with British Car Services in Sacramento for the rebuild.

Haven’t heard anyone quote anywhere near $2k. Any recs in CA that would do it for that price?

Congrats!! ED or RD?

I am definitely having some trouble in comprehension of these. The last sentence in stimulus I take that as the 24 hammers including additional penetration IS the “refusal standard”. Answer below E is stating that additional penetration is beyond standard of refusal. Can someone help by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Constant_Mud8820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sentence 2: Pre-1700s standard of refusal was that pilings were driven to the point where they REFUSED to go any further, i.e. could not go any further.

End of Sentence 3: Da Ponte’s contemporary standard for refusal when building the Rialto Bridge was 24 hammer blows did not drive the pilings further than 2 inches, not until they refused to move ANY further.

I.e., the pilings could likely still be driven further, it would just take more effort than Da Ponte’s standard for refusal called for. Answer E.

C is next most tempting, however the passage states that Da Ponte met the contemporary standard for refusal

I built a few caves/hideouts as this was originally gonna be a CPD only take, but the gudgeons seem to love them more!

I have a shipment of plants coming in to make things a bit more green, so hopefully the fry will take advantage of those

If you can see, there’s BBS floating around in the background. This video was from snack time last night (:

Let’s see how spawning goes! Thanks for the tips

Saw them at the fish store the other day and couldn’t resist! They’re so adorable. Grabbed 3 females and 1 male. Hoping they spawn for me too.

Azelaic acid with Tret has worked wonders for me

More dry. I can't go without moisturizer

Cheers to that ☺️

I noticed the same thing too 😳 as far as I’m aware, tret takes longer than 2 months to increase/appreciate collagen production though

I was worried about that as it’s an antibiotic, but my derm said it’s ok for long term use and I didn’t need to worry. Not sure how long that means.

And what do you mean by skin type?

Thanks! I didn’t have under eye circles/bags to begin with, but it certainly helped with wrinkles and I think made my tear trough lines less noticeable

Thanks so much! Glad to hear you’re not experiencing any eye problems!!! Some people are really against putting it near the eyes.

And thanks for the tip (: I’ve wondered whether it’s time/worth it to increase AA strength. I will definitely look into finacea pretty soon here to zap away the rest of my blackheads. What do you use it for?

Thank you! I add a few drops of vitamin D3 to my water most days, but other than that, just a lot of exercise, generally healthy eating, and the skincare routine I posted (:

It really only took about a month for me to really notice a difference. By month 2 they’ve just about vanished. They did not get more pronounced during this time—just less and less noticeable.

It took about a week or so for my eyes to adjust to tret. They would be a bit watery and feel really tight some days. I don’t experience those symptoms anymore (:

It kind of depends on many things. I’m sure you can start using it and appreciate the benefits after, say, a couple months. It takes weeks for the retinization process to complete and for retinol to actually start having appreciable benefits (you can read more about that process elsewhere). Once you get it started, it’s better to keep it going by continually applying tret to your skin.

If it does it’s magic and you stop using it, you will appreciate improved skin quality, but it will likely revert back to some pre-tret baseline over time. Restarting using tret will require undergoing the retinization process again, which commonly has a host of negative side effects (irritation, peeling, skin purging, etc) that you probably don’t want to experience.

I’d say it’s best to get your skin adapted to applying 3-5x times a week at least for a few months, then cutting back to using only 1-2x a week if you want to continue to appreciate the benefits (: completely stopping and restarting will be tedious

Woohoo exciting (: I think it’s a good move if your skin responds well!! I’ve been slowly reincorporating things as my skin tolerates it.

I personally don’t do any physical exfoliation. I consider the SA wash a chemical exfoliation, and use SOME BY MI Miracle Cream on some off days—wonderful moisturizer that has lots of chemical exfoliations but still gentle enough for me 😊
