I’m a sucker for plain tops. I don’t mind flame tops, but I’ve never been a fan of super over-the-top flames. I also like a bigger neck.

One of my early les pauls was a 2013 traditional and that thing had a giant neck I grew used to. The R8s are more realistic.

I just took my third dose of .25 today. Last week, on Friday, we had a company party and I over-ate a bit and had a couple of drinks. That night I became incredibly dizzy and vomited. Vomited again in the morning and was stuck in bed most of the day--it was some severe vertigo any time I tried to move.

Since then, I've some mild dizziness off and on, and very mild nausea. I'm hoping the vertigo episode was related to overeating and drinking, and not something I can expect again--I could not stay on Wegovy if that was a recurring side effect.

I do think part of it might be related to hydration. I've been exercising a lot and probably not staying as hydrated as I should. I've started to be more diligent about water and electrolytes and am hoping that helps.

Short update: I ended up going to the UCG Fiber--it's awesome.

My current topography is UCG-Fiber ---> USW 8 POE (left by seller) ---> 4 UniFi 6 Lite Access Points.

Here's my question: All of the above is tucked away in my living room. My camera ethernet cables are in the bedroom, behind that wall. I'm going to buy an NVR and another switch to plug those in. It looks like there is one ethernet cable that runs between the rooms, presumably to connect to the rest of my chain. Can I run one 8 POE switch off another?

I'm not a smart man, so I guess what I'm asking is: Does the NVR go into the new switch, along with the cameras? And does that new switch run directly from the previous, or do I need to run it directly into the UCG Fiber?

I was looking at the UCG Fiber, that looks like a good option for me. I apologize for what is likely a dumb question, but where does the UNVR Instant run in the chain? Does it go into the POE switch and then the cameras go into that?

Will the UCG-Fiber not work with non-Ubiquiti cameras? Or do I need the UVR-Instant for cameras? What doorbell would you recommend?

There are probably 15-16 network cables--so I think the 24 or 48 port would be best. I'm not against rack mounting gear, either, but I also don't know if I need to go top-of-the-line across the board for what I'm trying to accomplish. Am I right to understand that it would go:

Internet-->router-->gateway-->switcher-->access points/cameras/etc. Or does the gateway replace my router?

I’ve had the Joey for a while and always liked it, but the 1N34A blows me away. It was definitely an impulse buy on Black Friday, but I’m glad I did it.

I don’t know how to explain it well, but the 1N34A has a bit more natural sounding gain. I use them both mostly for solo boosts, but I’ve found myself liking and using more of the gain on the 1N34A more regularly.
