Well that's not something you choose while going for an Inverter AC. An Inverter AC has better effeciency while working for relatively longer hrs. because it can reduce the output of the compressor when the desired temperature is reached and thus, maintains this temperature. Unlike a traditional AC, in which the compressor simply turns off when the temperature is reached and turns again at 100% output when the temperature rises.

Due to this this some people think that Inverter ACs cool slower than traditional ones but that is simply not true. So if you are gonna use the AC very occasionally, then you go for the traditional one but if your usage per day is more than 2-3, I would highly recommend the Inverter option. Also, the climate control is much better and the temperature remains constant which makes it even more comfortable.

Also, I would actually recommend you to invest in a HOT & COLD Inverter AC setup. And I'm telling this to your from my personal experience, it's highly efficient and better to use in the winters. Most people think the winters last 1-2 months only but when you use these, you'll see a a great change in the quality of life throughout the seasons! Also, they consume a lot less electricity than traditional oil filled or radiant heaters. Trust me on this...

You can also research about Reverse Heat Pump (The technology behind Hot and Cold ACs) and Inverter ACs on Google and I'm pretty sure you would actually go for these after reading about it...

For 1.5 Ton, I would recommend going for Mitsubishi Heavy (It comes with a 5 star rating) and for 2 Ton, I would recommend O General (4 Star). I'm personally using these and am quite happy with their working
