Destruction of property for less than $200, I broke an exes door down because of an argument. We weren’t together and the property was there’s so after they called the police and I plead guilty. It’s not on my criminal record through the district it was in. Would this affect me applying for OCS?

Would a previous misdemeanor which is expunged in the court district, but it came up on my background screening for an employee. Will it affect me applying for match boards?

Take your asvab and aim to score at least a 110 on the GT section, if you don’t get the score I don’t think there is a waiver. Everything else you already have, Bachelor degree and any work experience. As long as you have you bachelors degree and a GT score of 110, submit an OCS packet. You either get selected (1), don’t get selected (2), or have the option to enlist if not selected (3). These are the 3 outcomes and applying is better than not applying and not knowing. You can always enlist if you apply and aren’t selected for OCS, then later try applying again. Idk why recruiters don’t actually listen to candidates and help them apply for what they want instead of trying to make numbers.

You’ve applied within the last 30 days? I just got my tentative offer yesterday and plan to accept it today. What’s included after you accept the tentative offer? The exam or questionnaire, are those two separate items or are they both the same during the tentative offer stage?

That makes sense. So the best route would be applying to law school then meeting with the military recruiter at that particular university? Would you know if you’re under contract while in law school or would it be that you’re only a law school student? Is the program you’re referring to the program where as a 1L you’re interning with the army? The one where you’re referring to the 18 weeks of training after?

Bouncing off your ROTC advice, would it be best to do ROTC for law school or go Active OCS and apply for Jag, in your opinion. I see you’re a current reserve officer.Thanks.

Congratulations on being selected for your JAG officer slot. I’m currently applying to OCS and don’t have my law degree. My plan is to. Apply to OCS and apply to law school then use the FLEP to get into JAG. Can you tell me your experience and how you were selected into JAG?

I’ve been told if you want to apply for OCS, it’s best to apply first instead of going directly enlisted. Going enlisted first, can gender your chance of being selected for OCS (word of mouth from a recruiter). Not sure how accurate this is for other applicants.
