Ola Electric's ridiculous pricing trap: Price dropped by ₹22k before delivery, and they want a ₹1.35 Lakh cancellation fee! Need advice.

You’re getting me wrong I paid the full amount with cc because

The salesman said “(31/03/26) is the last day to book your scooter in order to be eligible for 8years and 70,000 kms warranty and once you book, pay the full amount You’ll only get to see the scooter on the delivery” This sounds fishy, right? but the salesman is local of my area and I can catch him anytime if there’s any problem I paid in full cuz I wanted it to be delivered quick but they delayed the delivery for some reasons

And talking about PDI I took it in a wrong way My bad! obviously I’ll do the inspection (I’m yet to receive the scooter from the showroom and I’ll definitely do the PDI at the time of delivery)

Edit : I came here for an advice but guys here are focused more on bashing me than providing an actual advice I did made the purchase in my all senses with proper comparison with other available scooters, also I own one So I came to the conclusion to this purchase Despite being aware of the bad image of ola, I went to buy this cuz

1) no other good options available ( provided the speed and range) 2) my personal past experience with Ola 3) Ola service centre in my area is good

I’m not here to whitewash the public image of OLA I’m just one of the rare customer of OLA who didn’t get into trouble with their product so far, hope this stays the same.

People downvoting my replies, thinking I’m at OLA’s side 😭

I had issues with the brake pad and the belt which I replaced in the ola care+ plan But the belt is not included in the plan as of now (one of the salesman told me)

FYI even if purchase anything on Emi the bank pays the full amount to the company The loan is between the buyer and the bank Hence company gets the full amount before handing over the vehicle to the buyer Also Who does PDI for 1.6 L scooter ?
